In your opinion who is a better or more interesting writer? Dean Koontz or Stephen King.

Such a hard choice. I love Koontz Watcher. King's "the Stand would have to be my all time favorite book other than God's Word simply because it is such an interesting revelation of "end times and Apocalypse. Of course the Left Behind series does do a much closer adaptation of these areas. King has a way of putting his own life fears into reality and in that way I would be more inclined to compare him with Poe than Koontz.

This is a hard one for me as i have read most of Stephen kings books and am now working my way through Dean Koontz books at the moment. Although i do enjoy both i would have to say that Stephen king has a slight edge over Dean Koontz.

I have read them both and enjoy them both. There are very different for me and a little hard to choose between. But forced to choose I guess I would go with Koontz. What about you, jambi462?

For me, Stephen King it will alays be the best. Every time i think about "Carrie" and "Misery" have such a strange feeling that i just can`t explain. This are the books you`ll never forget.

I have read about 80% of Kings books and alot of Koontz. I don't think I can choose between them I have to finish them both in one sitting.I read kinda fast though so thats not a problem.I guess King is my favorite, but Koontz is a really close second.
