Air or blow dry? Which do you prefer?

Usually when I wash my hair I let it air dry. I brush through it, and that's it. Unless I am in a hurry and then I hit it with the blow dryer. But I think my hair is softer if I let dry on it's own. Takes a bit longer, but worth it in my opinion.

I don't even usually use a towel. *LOL* I also just brush it and let it air dry. :) That is just the easiest way to do it for me. :)

When I wash my hair I usually let it air dry unless I am going somewhere besides a store or something and feel like I need to blow dry it so I can style it which is a rare occurrence for me.

At home I wash my hair and then condition it before patting with a towel. Then I let it air dry and because my hair is long that takes some time. I went to the swimming pool with a friend and she used the hair dryer. I tried it but I wouldn't want to blow dry my hair everyday. People with short styles often blow dry their hair. I wait until my hair air dries and then I comb it.

Hi ersmommy, during summer i just let my hair dry own it's own, it's better coz it doesn't damaged your hair and it really fine and soft. But during winter like now, i always blow dry my hair, better than have a wet and cold back as i have a long hair. Happy posting and myloting.

I allow my hair to dry on its own as well. I have long thick hair. So air drying it will take way to long to do. It is not worth the hassle to even dry. I do however comb through it when it is wet.

I would rather air dry. I cannot blow dry my hair or it would be a mess LOL. It lays better when it air dries.

My hair is quite thick and rather long. I do not like to blow dry it as it is like a sponge, you think it is dry then comb it and it is soaking wet again. I just let it air dry. Though, if you suffer dandruff it is better to blow it dry instead.

I would love to air dry my hair. When I do it comes out flat and has bumps in it. I have wavy hair that it only wavy in certain spots. So I blow dry my hair and condition the heck out of it to compensate for all that hot dry air going at it.

As a guy, I don't tend to bother with a blow dryer. My hair is short enough that it doesn't really matter much. A bit of a toweling and then it dries before I leave the house most days.

Hello In the summer I just let my hair air dry and wear it in its natural curls . I always am swimming too anyways . Then in the winter i have to blow dry it but that takes so long that sometimes i just brush it , put anti frizz gel in , and pile on head few hrs . and then later blow dry it .

Hi, I usually air-dry my hair. I have rather fine hair, so it's easy to manage. Moreover drying by blow-dryer could be damaging and drying to the hair.

yeah i think the blow dryer damages your hair if you use it all the time.

Hi! I used to blow-dry my hair but I developed dry, coarse hair with split ends, so I stopped. Now, I just air-dry my hair. My challenge here in the States is that it's now very, very cold and I could not leave the house with my hair wet (or I will get sick). I came from a tropical country and is used to washing my hair every morning when I take a bath. Because I refuse to blow-dry my hair, I would just wash my hair at night and let it air-dry. That way, my hair is still great-looking in the morning. Happy myLotting!

Hello ersmommy. In most cases, I prefer air dry, but if I wash my hair late just before going to bed, then I usually blow dry to avoid getting a headahce the next day. Take care, friend.

Unless I am going out in the cold I let it air dry. If I am going to be going outside in this weather and my hair is still wet I will blow dry it enough for it to not be sopping wet, but not all the way. I think my hair gets frizzy when it gets blow dried.

I always blow dry my hair with an heated blow dryer. I have very thick hair, and I have to blow dry it all the time. For me to comb my hair while it is drying on its own, will have me stuck for hours.. My hair will dry and get tangled and very hard to comb. So I use an blow dryer that has an wide tooth comb attached to it. I do have soft hair after shampooing, but if I let it air dry it may start to get a little hard. So, I always blow dry it with the comb. I did air dry my hair a few times before. But, I did not like it. I prefer to use the bow dryer, it is faster for me in my condition! I do wished that I could do the same as you.. It would be easy to see this..

Usually I'll just brush my hair and let it air dry. I think that the only time I might use a blow dryer is if I'm going to a special event or something. But those occasions are rare. I much prefer to let it air dry.

I wash it, towel dry it, brush it, then I let it air dry. I rarely blow dry my hair, since I don't need to, plus it makes my hair hot, which makes my hair feel strangely weird. :O My hair often takes hours to fully dry, but can partly dry in about half of an hour. ; ) My hair does appear softer if I air dry it too, and I'm pretty sure blow drying your hair too much is bad for it. :X
