Anyone else been non stop sick with SOMETHING since OCTOBER?

me, my family (not living with me) and my friends have all seemed to be sick for over a month now.. mine started out with a bronchitis/sinus thing for over a week.. then i had the flu for over a week.. then i got another cold or something and now im sick with another sinus infection!!
my mom has been sick like 3 or 4 times since october too!! and its like even between them we still feel crappy which i figured was the season changing but my god its driving me nuts!!
i didnt get my flu shot this year so i figured i could blame that on my flu but the others just are happening one after another and winter isnt even full blown yet..
all of us live in Tennessee so is it our area or is every one just getting sick more and a lot more recently??

Nope. I try not to get sick. It is a costly affair to be sick.
Not to mention the feeling of misery during the sick bout.
The many varieties of food that have to be avoided. The many medicines to have to take. Not to mention the endless sleeping that can make one really grouchy.
Drink lots of water and eats lots of fruits to keep the sickness a bay. Oranges are the best!
I too notice that more people are getting sick in the past few weeks.
First it was my nephews. Then it was my aunts. Then now me and my mum in law.
I am so glad that I have recover now. So, eating lots of fruits to avoid being hit by the bug again!

Well, if diet is not helping much, then the only thing left is exercise already.
You have to go out and exercise a little to build a little more muscle and strengthen your body overall by moving a lot.
I guess keeping healthy and being sick free is not just about suppliments and food. A lot also goes into how you take care of yourself.
A part of it also depends on your body. Some people are just born strong. Others, not so strong. And some, well, they have a weak body.
Just do what you can to keep healthy. In the event you do fall sick, it may not affect you so seriously cos you have been keeping healthy all the while.

my immune system has always been bad.. ive tried changing diet and vitamins etc and it only will work a little while and then boom sick again

I will continue to have cold symptoms until it warms up. Then they lessen but never really go away. Even when i was on meds for it it never really went away. Ugh. I will probably have a few more sinus infections were i have to get shots through the winter season. Nothing helps and i have tried almost every allergy and sinus med there is, it alleviates the symptoms but they never go away.

i can honestly say i havent known anyone with allergies/sinuses so bad they need shots till i met you.. i wonder what is so messed up to where it gets like that??

No idea but i bet if i went to the doctors right now...i would be getting another shot because of a sinus infection. Um i just deal with it for now until it gets the point where i cant.

I have been non stop sick with diabetes and fibromyalgia now for 5 years, sick every day of my life.

well fibro has me miserable for as long as i can remember but these i know actually arent part of fibro.. some times i cant tell but with it being sinus infections adn the flu with all the flu symptoms i knew for sure for once.. before i knew i had fibro i was always going crazy thinking i was getting sick but it would just be fibro acting up and i could never understand why i wouldnt fully get sick and stay sick for a long period of time.. back then my fibro would jump around a lot.. sick as a dog one day better the next etc...

I am having allergies, but am fine otherwise. Sorry to hear family members are sick. Its hard to stay healthy during the holidays.

yeah i know it seems like im always sick on holidays and birthdays.. i guess one reason i dont care for them lol.. i sometimes wonder if its in my head but my immune system is grade A CRAP so.. lol

I have had a sinus thing too...runny nose. I blame it on allergies....if it would snow and stay on the ground it wouldn't be so dusty outside and we have had alot of wind with the season so I am sure it's stirring everything up. Hope you all feel better soon.

I have been sick since August oh well its nothing bad relly its called pregnancy. I cant remember the last day I felt ok but its worth it or at least thats what I tell my self all the time.
But yes I know what you mean last year I was sick on and off for almost 3 months. It went in a circle. My husband will get sick, then my son then me, than my parents, then again one of us. I was sick of been sick.

I have found the same thing moonlitmagikchild!
In fact, I just got over, finally, being really really sick. I think it's because I am out and about a lot with my job. And shaking people's hands.
Maybe there are more "bugs" going around this year that is affecting everyones' health?

well i dont get out but i thought it was my hubby working retail bringing it home but now he works in an office so less people but i dont know.. maybe its circling more or something.. my parents i know see a ton of people so thats prob why they keep staying sick
