Our cat , Gavin, almost always sleeps at the foot of our bed. Lastnight, he decided he wanted to sleep cuddled up next to me. My fiance was behind me, I had my back to him and Gavin was infront of me with his back to me. (A triple spoon). He even wanted to be under the covers with us and laid his head on my pillow. It was the cutest thing he's ever done. (he's done some pretty cute things) I wish someone was around to take a picture. He stayed there for a while, I was really surprised because he usually avoids human contact. Has your pet ever done anything this cute? Please share your stories.

Pretty much, every thing my cats do is either cute or funny! I have 3-5 that vie to sleep on TOP of me. Now, I sleep in a twin bed and I've had up to 11 cats in that bed with me!

The day it happened was a really cold day and the only places I was cold was where the cats weren't!

my late cat used to do that. sleep on my bed with me with her body under the covers and her head on the pillow, by my side, next to me. my current cat moves around a lot. sometimes he sleeps in his cat bed with his blanket, sometimes he sleeps in his cat tree, and sometimes he sleeps on my bed. he usually likes to knead me when before he sleep by me.

I once had a cat that wasn't weened properly from her mother. She would kneed and suck on things like she was still nursing.

i think it was meant to be. a year before i adopted him, i used to walk back the condo where he lived and i would see an orange cat sitting by the window and screaming and moaning. i wondered what was wrong with him. i guess his owner must have been in the hospital and gumby was alone without a human around to take care of him. at that time, i didnt know this cat is going to be my future cat because i didnt even know his owner was dying. i didnt even know his owner. gumby has a lot of human friends in the neighborhood. after i visited him once at his place, the next day one of the neighbors found gumby sitting on the ledge of my backyard. like he wanted to come with me. the next day, i went to his house, and took all his stuff and brought him home with me. he was nervous at first but he eventually got used to the new place. he just wanted attention.

they sure do and even make a wierd sound when there is a danger. like when my baby was 5 days old, my baby choked and had vomited and it also came out of her nose. we got shocked and got scared more coz the way our cat meowed was like our baby is going to die. So we rushed our baby to the hospital and thanks God nothing serious only she was so full and only need to burp more.

I think they sense things like that. My cat is my shadow when I'm sick or upset. He also acted strange during both of my pregnancies.

My cat would often curl up beside me on the bed if my husband fell asleep on the couch or something. Usually though he would sleep down by me feet, but he was always touching me. My dog would also lay on our bed and she would always make sure she was touching us too, and she would lay her head on our leggs.

Oh my, that is sooo cute! I wish I could've been there to take the photo for you. It would've gotten such attention. lol. My big, black cat, Misty, he does so many cute and cool things that I wouldn't know where to start. His latest thing is that every time I go the bathroom, he wants to "play in the water". So, I ask him, "Do you want to play in the water?" and he says, "meow". I taught him that. Anyway, I cut on the water to the sink just barely so he can drink from it and wash his face and play in it for a moment. As soon as he knows that I'm done, he usually takes off like lightening. That's the realy funny part, but if he doesn't do that, he keeps playing in the water, watches me leave the bathroom, since I'll come back to cut the light off....this look he gives me at point is priceless: he'll look back at me as if I've caught him in the act. Kind of tricky to explain, but it's awesome...just try to picture it. Sorry for the long post, but at this moment, my cat is laying between my arms while I type!!! And, it's kind of hard to write it exactly. Peace!

Sounds like your cat is pretty awesome. My cat likes to drink from the sink also. I had to buy him one of those cat water fountains otherwise he won't drink his water from his bowl. My sisters cat would only drink out of a glass, before she passed. I had another cat years ago, also passed, that would use his paw to steal liquids from our glasses/cups. He didn't even care what it was. He'd drink soda, juice, coffee, whatever.

Surprisingly he didn't get affected by the caffeine. He was always very mellow.

The title is somewhat a little of funny. But this post is just about a cat lying together with you in your bed. Yes, some cats are like that. Actually I don't like cats but before we have a lot of cats and sometimes they will sleep beside you. One time a cat even sleep on my stomach.

That is such a lovely story, I'm glad that you decided to share it with us. Our two cats are not allowed upstairs so don't do anything like that. But when I was a girl we had a dog that used to sleep at the btm of the bed on my feet. He used to come upstairs and bark for me to lift the quilt up so he could jump into my bed and cuddle my cold feet

I have many cats and 1 dog. At the moment my boyfriend is out of town so i let my pets have any available space on my bed that they can find, after ive settled in, of course. Well, the position i fell asleep in is the same one i woke up in! lol i was trapped! i had the dog (55lbs) sleeping on the other side of the bed towards the bottom, my black cat Toby on my boyfriends pillow, my cat Bogie curled into my stomach, Lucky sleeping ontop of my legs, Junior snuggling with the dog (that cat loves that dog, he is always trying sleep with him, clean his ears and other cute things) And the only other one that could fit was Smudge, who wedged herself between Toby and my dogs butt. It was funny, and adorable, but it makes for a tricky sleeping situation! Have a great day!

Yes, It's a wonderful feeling to have that little heart beating next to you! Hear them sigh and feel their little paws pressing onto you. I had a little girl the one in my avatar that she gave me the greatest joy she use to sleep with us, make turns since my husband loved her as much as I did. Enjoy your Gavin's expressions of pure LOVE you are a lucky girl!

I used to have a cat that liked to get in bed with me. She would either lay on top of me or in the back of my knees. It was so funny. I don't have her anymore and I miss her a lot. I love cats and dogs. They do some funny things.

I used to have a cat that would slepp on my pillow wrapped around the top of my head. I'd rather have one sleep on the back of my knees.

Ahhhhhhhh. I have a 15 lb. cat -- "Homer" (aptly named!) -- who gets in the bed with me. But! He has to see my face or else he'll walk over me. (I turn on my stomach so that he -- being heavy -- will massage my back for only a few seconds. If I turn over, he walks over me again...don't know what it is, but he has to see my face. Sooooooooooooo spoiled!

You really got me there, camomom! lol! Our pet is also as sweet as your pet, they'd love to sleep where we sleep and most of the time, they share with us pillows. They'd want their head on the pillows where our heads are, like we are sleeping head to head! Sometimes, they sleep over my stomach, crawling at the middle of the night until I awake because I feel something heavy is over me. I miss those days (err, night), really. I wish I have a pet here in my place in the city. Too bad, I can't. No one's gonna take care of them everytime I'm at work.

We have 2 cats and they are so cute. Sometimes they would take turns sleeping on the bed. On of them would sleep on top of my stomach. When Lucky (male cat) would sleep in the chair he would sleep on his back. I have some pictures of them.

I have one cat who loves to lick. Sometimes I'm woken up by him licking my hands, arms, or face, ew! Usually I keep the cats out of my room by keeping my door closed, because I can't stand to have them in bed with me. I'm really a picky sleeper. But one time this cat got hurt in a fight, and I had to keep in away from my other cats for 2 weeks in case he had rabies because we weren't sure of what animal he was fighting with. The poor cat was so pathetic because he had one of those cones around his neck to keep him from licking his wound. Well to keep him away from the other cats I had to lock him in my bedroom for 2 weeks. He slept with us and licked my face every morning. Sometimes I thought it was really cute, other times it was just annoying because I didn't want to be woken up.

I would be really annoyed but I would think it was cute and feel sorry for him for being hurt.
