As of the past week or so I have set a goal sort of to try and earn 100 points here daily. I've done it a few times this month. It is not easy either let me tell you. No matter how hard one tries to avoid discussions that may get deleted, it seems one does get deleted that we/I respond to. Those times I did earn 100 or more points posting/responding I was very careful in discussions I responded to. Yet I still lost points each time I did this. Granted it was just a few points each time, but lost them none the less. This is not a rant or a whine, it is just something I wanted to share. As I am usually very careful in what I respond to. Have you ever tried to earn 100 points in one day here? Did you succeed in this task? Did you find yourself being more careful during that process? Did you lose points as well? Pleas e share as I am interested if it happes to us all actually. Thanks all and hope each and everyone of you has a great Thanksgiving Day if you celebrate it.

I don't know how many I have gotten in one day but I can assure you it was no where near 100. haha There are some weeks where I feel like I did good to get 100 in one week. If I see a discussion that I think might get taken off I pass on it. From what I have heard too that some are removed even if they stayed within the guidelines so who knows huh? I don't keep track really of my progress each day so I don't know when it goes down or how much it goes up.

Ijust started this the opther day for some reason.
Guess I just want to move up the rankings of all members maybe.
But it's been an educational experience as to what does and doesn't get deleted around here for the most part.

When I first joined here just after the Site started I used to do between 100-200 Points, but it was so easy to do then, now like you the few times I have no matter how careful I am I always seem to loose Points

Well you know me I dont set goals i just do what i feel like doing each day. I dont even track my post numbers so I would have no clue if i lost points.

I don't even bother to count how many I get a day..I am fortunate to get a chance to reply to my friends, and to start and/or reply to my discussions..I have noticed that I am not doing as well money wise this month as I did last month..That is disturbing, because this next payout will be the last before Christmas and it would be nice to make enough for at least one opr two nice gifts..

I seldom count or keep track either.
This was something I wanted to test was all.
Seems the more one posts the more they can lose.
Which is typical of most things.
The more we do of one thing, the motre likely something will happen.

I've never shot for 100 posts in a day. I used to have a goal of at least 25 a day, but eventually I gave up keeping track and just respond as I see fit. I think it's more fun that way. I seem to earn more money too when I don't keep track.
But when I was keeping track I did notice losing a lot of discussions. I probably still do, I just don't notice it anymore because I don't pay any attention to my number anymore.

That is what I usually do as well.
Just respond to what I can add to etc.
I never keep track for the most part.
Just something I wanted to see if I could do was all.
Now it's stuck with me sort of.

Hello grandpa Bob. Don't worry about getting your post or discussions deleted, you would be able to make new ones. I think it is because some of them are violating the guidelines accidentally, and you would never know about that. Seeing you, I believe you didn't do that in purpose so that I believe you would be able to get more and more everyday. Getting 100 points a day in this place is not an easy things to do, for that, I should praise you :)
This month is very slow month for me, I only earned a little because I only have a little time, but I have tried my best and I should be proud about that. I see you have tried your best, so you should be proud of your achievement. Happy Posting too, grandpa BOB

This is all just an obsewrvation of mine in this test thing sort of.
It is a hard chore to accomplish, but I've done it a few times.
Actually today I've already earned near 50 points and still have a lot of time.

I used to do it on a continuous basis, and made quite a bit, but now the pay schemes seems to have gone down and I have found other sites that pay me more so I don't even bother to try anymore.

Would you believe (I guess because I'm an idiot, remember?), I often start out saying I'm going to keep count of how many points I get in one day but I end up forgetting how many I started out with...lol! Thanks for giving me a new goal to try to reach. I do my best work under pressure!

I didn't know how the points were earned at all. 50 discussions a day? Sorry, I don't have that much time! And, I also didn't know that discussions were deleted - I find it wrong that if a discussion that you replied to and earned points (or pennies...) for gets deleted that you also lose your points. I mean, how are we to know if a discussion has the chance to be deleted or not? If we knew that, we wouldn't waste our time posting to it!

When I first joined here I started off posting a little and then I would post more and more each day as I became addicted. I eventually got up to the point where I was posting around 80 to 90 a day but come the end of the month I was horrified to find I was losing 50 points a time! It seemed the more I posted the more points I lost at the end of the month and eventually I just started to do less and less and now I only do about 20 a day if that!

Possibly back then your discussions were of not much quality is why you lost points as they may have been reported/deleted. That's my guess anyhow. I seldom start more than 10 at the most. When I do start discussions it is on the average of 5 to 7 most times is all.

I had dialup for over 18 years.
Now with DSL it is so easier to post and add photos etc here.
Just watch my numbers increqase is all.
one point for a response to each discssuion, one point for each one I start and of course one more for a comment added to anothers response one time only.

Yes. I have done it quite a lot, but it takes around 12 hours for me. I think I do better writing long replys now. I give myself this goal somedays and I am tempted to try and do 24 hours in a row, but the Children stop me as I have to look after and feed them (and tidy my home) One day I am going to go for it though. Do not work too hard Bob. You will get a migraine and sore eyes also, like I do. Take care. Speak soon.

It makes me tired are getting all droopy just thinking about being online and here on myLot for 12 hours, let alone 24 hours straight. In fact my eyes are starting to get droopy and watery just thinking about attempting anything like that. I am wondering how you managed to stay awake for that long and how you could think up quality responses for such a long period of time.
Congratulations to both of you on your achievements to date and I can assure you that I will not challenge either of you to see how long we could stay online in one session. Maybe being online might be done but certainly I would not be making any sense lontg before the 12 hours was up.
Good luck and I shall see how you go in future as I am interested in how you manage to achieve something so remarkable.

I did it 24 hours straight once awhile bacl.
I don't rmember how many points I advanced though.
But I made over $5 that day.

I am actually kinda new here, so I have yet to try and reach any goals. But, as soon as I am able to navigate better I will let you know. :)

I try and be careful as well. You just never know. I think it happens more frequently than we would like. I haven't tried for 100 points. But I have set a goal before. Thinking I have met it, and finding out later I had not. Having lost some along the way for one reason or another.

I have never shot for 100, that is a lot, but I have shot for as much as I can, I have never gotten close to 100. The most was 48 and starting 5 in one day. I am trying to keep actual money out of this so I don't get this deleted. I have a few deleted here and there and now and then. It can be very, very frustrating. I don't see why we can't talk about our earnings if we want to. It's our business what we earn, if we want to talk about it we should be able to.
