As long as you are not ignoring your other daily responsibilities then there is nothing wrong with hanging out with friends. You can learn a lot from them, actually. Every person has different qualities that you can pick up, so surround yourself with positive and inspiring people.

Time is overrated. Many people, including myself at times, take spending time to mean getting someplace else than where you are now. If you do that for your whole life then there is a good chance you will never live. I would say enjoying the precious time of your life with friends is some of the only time you will actually live.

If you like being with your friends then it is not a waste of time, you have to have communication with people in all aspects, what does your family expect you to do with your time, you have to enjoy yourself and spending time with people of your own age is a part of life...

Spending time with friends a waste of time? Heavens no! Friends and relationships add value to life. You family probably just wishes you would spend a little more time with them as well. Family adds value to life too. You might need to find a better balance between family and friends.

Not if you use your hang out time wisely and remember other responsibilities.

No its not, the people need to go out and have a heathly fun with they're friends. I dont thing that if you go out with your friends some days at the week (no all the days) you are wasting your time. Have a nice day and see you soon ;) bye bye

Hi! As long as they are not a bad influence to you, and you do not neglect the important things in life, like your family, your studies or your job, and other responsibilities, then it's just fine to hang out with your friends. We do need to socialize every now and then, but too much of anything is also not so good. Just balance your time well so that there would be nothing that any person can say about your going out or hanging out. Happy myLotting!

haha, if you are asking this question, then maybe those friends of yours are not worthy of your company. cos i never find hanging out with friends a waste of time. Life is about many things and there are 2 main components of pp you hang around with. One is family members and the other is friends. There is a chinese saying that at home, you rely on family members, leave home and you rely on friends. so if you think you are wasting time with them then i think something is not right somewhere

Are you supposed to be doing other things instead of hanging out with your friends? If so, then maybe you need to cut back on the time you spend with your friends and keep your responsibilities in mind. If that's not the case though, what else would you be doing if you weren't hanging out with friends? If you're happy being with your friends, why would you want to do anything else? I believe having even just a couple very good friends is very important in life. I have a friend that I tell everything to, including some stuff I don't even tell my husband. Everyone needs someone they can confide in, tell things to and know they won't tell anyone else, and they know they can trust in you as well. My friends are the people that keep me sane when things are crazy in my life. I'd be lost without them and wouldn't know what I would do if they weren't in my life.

Dont think so... But surely there must be a limit... You need to balance your time. On the other hand, its good to take some time off from work/studies and just have some fun with your friends... Keeping in mind whatever other priorities you may have.
