How Do You Like To Relax After a Session of Hard Work?

This year, I have five Christmas Cakes to make, plus my Granddaughter's Birthday Cake for the 14th December. I made a crafty move and offered two cakes in exchange for a load of logs from the local tree surgeon. He agreed to exchange the logs for a Christmas Cake for himself and one for his assistant, so my ancient beliefs have come out and worked there! lol. So, with the other three I already had lined up, that brings me to five.
For three weeks, I was suffering with that horrible flu virus or whatever it was going around... in fact it took me four weeks to get right so I've lost a bit of time, and now have only four weeks in which to make six cakes. So, today, I have baked two of the cakes, and will start 'feeding' those tomorrow, whilst I bake another two, and so it will go on. Two weeks before Christmas, I will base ice them, then work on decorating them one at a time, with my Granddaughter's cake in between.
I sat down a short while ago, after putting the second cake in the oven and washing up and clearing my workspace. I felt absolutely worn out! So, to begin to unwind, I made myself a nice cup of tea, and came into Mylot. I haven't been here for a long time, because of the illness, and because I've built my own social network site. One of the cakes will be cooked in just over an hour... lucky I have a double oven! When I've taken that out, I'll probably have a bit of a read of my Runes book, and then go into my other site to see if anybody has been in there. Reading relaxes me, and sometimes, I like to go into Pogo and play some games to unwind, or just make relaxing smalltalk with friends on IM.
How do you like to relax... are you a reader, a smoker, a TV addict, a Mylot addict or what? Sometimes, I'll go to the pub for a couple of beers and a chat with friends, but I have darts tomorrow and don't feel much up to pubbing it tonight. lol. So, do you like a drink or two to relax, or would a cup of hot chocolate work better for you? Please share.

Tea, cocoa, coffee, anything except a hard drink. Just me. I relax online, or earn money online, whichever. I am working long hours right now, and am not here much, but I was thinking it had been awhile since I had seen you. Sorry you had the flu. Enjoy your baking. How do you "feed" a cake?

Yes, it's good to just sit down and chill for a while, my friend. I like a nice cup of hot chocolate, you know... the Options ones. I like the hot chocolate and fudge one best and it's only a few calories.
Brightest Blessings and thank you for your contribution, my friend. xx

Hi Cupid, my friend! It's good to be back. Well, four of the cakes will be dark, rich fruit cakes, with marzipan and icing, as well as decoration which I make myself from icing. The fifth one is for a diabetic person, so that will be a light coloured fruit one, and I have to be careful what fruits I put it, and eliminate the nuts. That one will be covered with white, diabetic chocolate and decorated with brown diabetic chocolate shapes. Then, the birthday cake has to be chocolate sponge, coated with Cadbury's milk chocolate, and decorated with Cadbury's Flakes, Smarties and the like. I'm not saying my granddaughter is a chocoholic but she's not far from it! ha ha ha.
I like your ways of relaxation too. It's just that most people in the village use the pub as a social centre so it's good to pop down there for a chat every now and again. Brightest Blessings and thank you for your contribution.

I usually jump on myLot and answer some friends discussions and then it sparks some of my own.
