Is it just me, but why is it that it takes forever for the line to move in these stores? I was on line at Rite aid yesterday, and all I had was a bottle of hand sanitizer. The it took the lady in front of me a full 2 minutes to get rung up. Sometimes it's the people on line that hold up everything. They get to the cash register and all of a sudden they want rain checks on every single item in the store. it's either that or it's some old b@stard who wants to question the price on every item they are paying for because they fill like they got overcharged! The other problem is the cashiers. They have got to be the slowest moving people on the planet. I finaly get to the register and the guy says how are you sir. In my head I'm saying to myelf "I'm in a rush you idiot, cut the crap and try to ring me up in less than 2hours!"

I haven't been in one of those stores for ages. When I read this question I realized why. Ya, you said it! Waiting in line, especially in this day and age, is just rediculous. It would probably be almost quicker to go home and order it online. teehee.

I buy a lot of things at the pharmacy and I'm sorry for the poor soul behind me. I try to go when they open so that there aren't too many shoppers yet, but at least where I go, they always let people pay in the cosmetic or photo department if the line at the front has a wait. I don't ask for rainchecks, but I'll direct the person behind me to go to the other counter. I even put all my stuff in the bags so that the clerk can work faster. Have a great day!

Don't lines always seem to take forever? : D That's what usually happens to me. I have one item and the people in front of me seem to have millions of items and take forever to get rung up. (Plus I'm usually in a hurry too. That just makes it worse. : )) Lines don't seem to take as long if you're not in a hurry though. I guess it just depends on what store you're at. (Or maybe I just have bad luck in stores / lines. : ))
