Hi Bala..I feel there are two occasions when words become utterly meaningless. One is when silence speaks volumes and the second is when actions speak for themselves.....

Well, when you see someone who you love very much ,and you haven't seen them for years, the only thing that you wish to do is to hugg them and cry.

For me that would have to be holding my daughter for the first time and looking into her eyes and seeing her daddy cry as he gazed on his daughter for the first time and the love that just filled the room as I realized that this little person I was am holding is the result of such a strong love. A love like no other. That was a moment in my life when words were utterly meaningless, and looking at what I have typed the words are still utterly meaningless.

If words become meaningless, then you wonder what meaning the word "life " itself has, and if you cannot figure that out, then... I think it becomes time to renounce everything in life and retire to the himalyas to get an answer.

When a nice cheque comes in the post, with my name as the payee on it, doesn't have to be a big figure, can be any figure and I will be lost for words, besides I have been well trained in not jumping up and down and cheering and celebrating, so now I look at the cheque and words don't need to be said!

Bala Words cannot be meaningless if and when we utter it with conviction and empathy, which I try to do all the time. Hollow talk is something we must not do and walking the talk makes us most respected. But, I feel words are poor comforters. whenever, I face a crisis as in some close ones passing of, i lose all my composure and words. I do not have much of good words to console and even if I had I do not think that works much. Words get meaningless on those times.

I have seen the words increasing the woes and crisis to greater levels Mimpi.

The sad part is that they are always proud that they are good at words.

I believe that there are many times in life when words become meaningless. For instance, I am sorry, can start to have less meaning if the person continues to do the same thing over and over again. Just like the words I love you can become meaningless to a battered wife.

when i am trying hard for something to be achieved and i keep on getting failure in that but i have no choice but to strive and strive due to no options around me this is when i feel that words and even my prayers a also are utterly meaningless and i also find myself as helpless as well.

Words getting meaningless? Maybe that is true to those people who are not sincere with what they are saying. I mean they just utter and utter words, making promises here and there but no word of honor. That is one instance when words become meaningless. When people around you lose their trust on your word of honor then your word become meaningless to them.

Words sure loose their meaning and honor when they don't mean what they are a re meant to.

When you are witnessing Nature's grandeur. You don't have to use words to fully enjoy the sunset, the sunrise, the ocean, the quietness of the day, etcetera... I think when you experience something that makes your heart full. You don't have to express anything through words, you just feel it.
