Graphic Novels or Books?

By books i mean books with text rather than with pictures or comic strips, just incase i've confused anyone.
So, firstly which do you prefer to read and why?
Do you like text books, novels, plays, scripts, manga, picture books? etc.ect.
Personally, I like both manga and just "books" so i cant really say which i prefer.. I prefer book s when i want something long to read and i love the pictures in manga so its hard to choose _

I really enjoy reading graphic novels, as I'm not a fan of books with pictures here and there (personally, I think placing them there is a waste...). But ironically, I enjoy reading manga, which have pictures everywhere. I think our preferences just differ from each other... Others prefer picture books, others prefer classics and of course, others enjoy graphic novels (and I'm on that category...).

but in the logn run i want books
cuz graphic novels can get irritating

I like all of the above. The genre I enjoy the most is Romance and Self Help. I do like an occasion classic like To Kill A Mockingbird. Take it to heart. I love the written word.
