Today is the day after Thanksgiving. Did you put your Christmas decorations up today? I didn't. Or were you still recuperating from all the food you ate yesterday. Thanksgiving day here was beautiful the temperature was in the 60's the sun was shining. When I was going over to my sister's the neighbors yard were full of cars where family and friends were visiting for the dinner. Today it is raining, a steady rain, it has been dreary all day. And I could not start on any decorations, not that I was going to put up much any way. Did you get a chance to do any of your decorations.

Hi, We do not have a Thanks Giving here in the UK but my girlfriend is really excited about Christmas so she put her Christman Decorations up on the 25 of this month. I am not a Big fan of Christmas so she calls me the Grinch just because i do not like Christmas, i do not have a problem with it but i just do not see any point in this. well i still buy Gifts for the Family but that is it, Her mother offered me for to go have Dinner with her and her family but i said no. I think that the reason could be because i lost my friend in a Motor Bike Accident when he got his Christas Present it turned out to be a Motor Bike so he decided to take it out and have a go then he was took away from us, Sad

Chevee, don't start nagging.. I do have them up by Thanksgiving night, I turn them on as soon as it gets dark, but not this year.. I am getting lazier and lazier.. I was thinking about getting them up, does that count?? I think that I am in a coma from the dinner yesterday and the leftovers tonight.. I can't move tonight, I am tooooo tired, can I wait until tomorrow and think about it some more?? Please, please, I am so tired tonight, I promise that I will take time tomorrow to think about it, ok..

Well, my husband and I both had to work, and then we had a friend of mine from work over for dinner since we were having Turkey so it was a busy but nice day. We actually do not put up a Tree or anything ourselves, but do buy presents for each other and our families, and just enjoy celebrating the Holidays together as well.

It sounds like Thanksgiving day was a lovely day for many people it makes me wish that we in the UK had more nice celebrations to look forward too. I have not as yet put my christmas decs up although I feel that I need to soon to try and bring some cheer to our house! I may put them up next weekend then it is not too early and not too late!

Chevee, that is an upside, not to have to go out in the bad weather. I sure am glad I do not drive any distance (less than three miles) this year for work.

Its raining and foggy now, it is going to be a dangerous night, I am happy I don't have to work so I won't have to get out in this fog, rain is bad enough I just looked out the door and the fog is thick.

The day after Thanksgiving was just a normal day for us, or may I say "back to the old drawing board." I spent most of my day hanging around the house eating leftovers from Thanksgiving, which was delicious and the food still melts in my mouth and not in my hands. Yummy, I think it's enough for me to make at least one more plate this morning.

Today I slept in a little, enjoyed breakfast prepared by my brother, played card games and traveled home. We will wait at least a week before we get to do our decorations, and that is okay. It rained in Oklahoma last night, it has sleeted, rained, snowed or something here in Kansas today, depends on who you talk to as to what it did exactly. I will be cleaning a lot, and we will probably go get a real tree in about eight or nine days. I am still on schedules for both day and night shifts.

When you are self-employed, you don't have "work" anyday!! or, you could say you have work everyday, which is quite different, acutally... but anycase, I replace that dirty four-letter word of "work" with a delicious four-letter word of "PLAY" hahaahahahahahahahha
