The word means knitted or crochet doll in Japanese and they are so varied, have such great expression and are so fun, you’ll fall in love as I have.. I was on youtube looking at something eles and then I saw this clip on cupcake bears and thought they were adorable and triggered me to find out what Amirugumi was http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=GgceMpaK9PA I have made two already, they are quick and quiet easy to do.

Yes they are so cute, I liked the lilac coloured one of course, I can see people having them like little pet rocks, if I was making them I would put hair on them, all different styles...

They're soooo cute!... I make some crochet stuffed animals, like little monsters, but never had thought about dolls. It's amazing what one can learn around here, isn't it?

I have seen Amirugumi myself before, and think that it is a very cute craft, I have even thought of making some myself, once I get better at crocheting. They are great gifts...

Well if you have a crochete hook and some wool, watch some you tube on how to crochete and that will soon help you be on your way.. All you need is a little patience and some persistance.... Good Luck if you try
