I would suggest a clean and full format of your harddisk. Becoz the virus wont b in C or windows drive itself. So go for a clean format and stick with Kaspersky and install Zone alarm for more protection. Or if dont like to reinstall or format.. try repairing it

Reformatting your computer is the best option, to be honest because some Trojan viruses can be quite nasty and difficult to be removed.

If you don't, the virus will probably destroy your computer over time and spread ot other people's computers. Some places you go online have contracts and you may have promised to reimburse for any ruined sites. So get rid of the virus completely before you end up liable for thousands of dollars.

I don't think formatting your hard disk would get rid of it. Try scanning it with Norton or McAffe, sometimes even the free version of adaware will work. Good luck!

I think some DVDs or CDs of an infected computer from friend can bring viruses to our computer and we should try to avoid this.

Hello ajithlal. I think that it is better to formate your computer once again as it will remove the viruses more effectively this way. I once had my computer done this way and now it is in a very good condition. Also it is good to install some anti-virus software to protect your computer from getting infected. Take care, friend.
