I came across someone who didn't know what a snow angel was. At first, I was shocked! Then, I realized that not everyone gets snow where they live. Some people have never seen a single snowflake! Oh, those poor people! They don't know what they're missing! So, I decided to make a little step-by-step animation of the making of a snow angel. This is the link to my snow-angel: http://www.geocities.com/ladysmith414/SnowAngels.html THIS IS NOT A REFERRAL LINK! It is a link from my geocities website. I was formerly known as ladysmith414, for those who are wondering. Oh, the last two pictures are of my snow angel being turned into a "female". Hope you enjoy it! Have you ever made a snow angel? If so, did you take pictures? Share, please!

Do you get snow? If you do, you've GOT to make at least one snow angel in your life! It's something that you'll never forget. Oh, and take a picture! One day, you might be so old that you can't do anything but remember good memories and pictures always help!

Hahahahahaha! But it's so flavorful! Just kidding. I learned centuries ago to stay away from the yellow snow. I won't even make a snow angel near it! Ewwwwww!!! Avoid things that are steaming in the snow, as well!

Hi there friend. It is odd to hear that there are persons who don't know how to do this. I have just made my first snow angel 2 days ago but i knew how to do it for some time now. I will share a picture but i can't take it out of the camera yet as i am not home but in my girlfriend's parent's house in another city now. I will come back with a picture to share soon though (perhaps tomorrow).

Oh, cool! I can't wait to see another snow angel! It's been too long since I've seen any that I didn't make myself. This person was in Australia somewhere, I believe. I can't remember exactly. He was young and hadn't traveled much, obviously, so he really didn't have a clue about snow angels! Really odd, I agree!

Check out littleowl's response (below). She's never heard of snow angels! See now? It's a good thing I've made this "how to" on snow angels! We can't have anyone going through life not knowing about them! LOL

Me making a snow angel - This is a picture of a snow angel in progress.
Hi there again friend. It seems i don't have awesome pictures as i believed but rather one when i was in the process of creating the snow angel. The first time i heard of snow angels was in a movie (i think it was a few years back).

That's so cute!! Well, I really don't know how to make a snow angel, and I have never made one. I'm staying in a tropical country, where there is no winter, no snowing. I really wish to play with the snow. It must be really fun!!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Snow IS fun, kaka! It's cold and can be a nuisance, but it's also a lot of fun. You can do what one of the other people here suggested... make sand angels! It's done the same way, only you are lying in sand instead of snow. I'm sure it's a lot more enjoyable in sand because you're not getting that cold snow up under your coat or into your boots! I'm going to try that the next time I'm at a beach, which will be in the summertime, naturally. LOL

Once, in Denton, but it wasn't very good, not enough snow. My former roommate told me what they were, I guess my folks (raised in NJ) didn't think they were were as important as snowmen....

I hope I don't! The less snow I see the happier I am. Its the reason I'm still in TEXAS inspite of the miserable summers!

Aww, now, snowmen are snowmen but snow angels are special! Your parents missed a lot by never making one or telling you about them! Hopefully, you'll get enough snow this year to make at least one snow angel. I remember, as a kid, we LOVED making them. I think the last time I made one was about 3 years ago. It didn't turn out too well, either, but it was because we got too much snow! Hubby had asked for snow on his birthday (Feb. 12) so I put in an order. Man, did it snow! We got about 15 inches of the stuff; really too deep to make a good snow angel. Plus, my dog was all over me. She LOVES snow! I'll have to get a picture of her playing in it. She's a little Maltese and quite small. She's adorable playing in it. She won't come in until her hair is caked with iceballs!

I too was wondering who does not know this, then realized too that there are places where snow is either non-existent or a novelty. All the kids seem to have the knowledge about snow angels, snow balls and snow men and how to make them. I confess I was puzzled on the make the angel a lady part though until I realized you added snow boobs. Now that I had never seen before. How do you make it a man angel?

Yeah, snow boobs. I didn't want to say anything in case myLot is grumpy today. How to make it a man snow angel? Well... Nah, I couldn't do that! Hmmm, maybe put a remote control in his hand?

Snow Angels are so much fun to make :) The last time I made one was a couple of winters ago. A couple of friends and I were walking home from the bar and decided to make some snow angels in some random person's yard. We took pictures and I would have liked to have seen the person's face when s/he saw the snow angels in their yard :)

ha ha ha ha ha... that was a cute one. Very interesting. I like the part where you turn the angle into a lady one. Cute. Where I am from, it is summer all year round. I do get to see snow when I was touring Europe. But there is not enough of it to make a snow angel.

I'm glad you liked it! Snow is a funny thing... you either love it or you hate it. I guess I love it because we rarely get too much snow. One year, we got over 5 feet of snow in a 2-week period. THAT was something! I didn't like that much because it was my job to shovel it!

Short 'n' sweet, eh onetrack? Where the heck have you been? Okay, maybe it's me just spending too much time here in myLot. So, are you going to make more this year? You KNOW we're going to be getting more snow this winter! I don't know about Maryland, but it's snowed 3 times already here in Virginia and it's just December 1st! So, are you? Come on... don't let the old man hold back the little kid in you! And pictures... I want pictures!!! I'm beginning to think I'm the only one who makes snow angels anymore.

Hey mentalward. I was born in Iowa so you know I'm pretty familiar with snow angels. I really miss those days when we use to lay down in the snow and have snow angel contests to see who could make the best angel, of course we didn't have a judge but it was still fun. I seen your snow angel video. I love it. I think it actually looks better than mine did. I always lost the contest, but I'll win one day. Too bad I never took pictures. Too late for pictures, I live in Florida now.

Hey, you're not out of the picture yet! Take a look at mechanicNOT's response! Sand angels!!! I think that's just as good as snow angels. Better, even. You don't freeze your buns off making them! Of course, there IS the sand getting into places it shouldn't be issue. Yeah, I remember the carefree days of childhood, too. Ah, the fun we had! I'd be turning blue before my mother came after me to drag me home to thaw out. I know it's probably a little chilly to be going to the beach but, when it warms up, you should go and make some sand angels! Oh, and don't forget pictures! Gotta have pictures! (They'll help us to remember the good times when we're too old to make any new ones. )

Oh, please do, katrhina! I hope you get enough snow this winter! We didn't get enough last year to do anything with. Not even enough for a decent snowball fight! From the looks of things, we're going to get a lot of snow this winter; it's already snowed 3 times and I live in Virginia, not even way up north! So, if you do get enough, please go out and have some fun in it! Make a snow angel and take pictures! I'd LOVE to see yours!
