Do you hold a teddy while sleeping?

personally i don't hold a teddy in bed, i never could as a child though either, when i use to get up in the morning, i would find my teddy/teddies on the floor. my son is similar, he has teddies, and can have one or 2 on the bed, but doesn't cuddle them all night.

I always hold a teddy bear while I am sleeping. I have slept with some kind of stuffed animal for as long as I can remember. I also sleep with a pillow between mu knees because I think it is really uncomfortable and distracting when my knees are touching since I always sleep on my side. I think I probably hold my teddy bear at night a little bit for comfort, but I think mostly out of habit. If I didn't have it, I don't know if I would be able to get to sleep.

Hello,Smily! It would not give me much of warmth as I get from my wife.So I sleep with my wife all the time and enjoy the warmness.There is special pleasure in it which a teddy can't provide.thanx.

Until I got with my husband I used to always sleep with a teddy. Now I only sleep with a teddy when my husband is on nights

I dont hug a teddy when i go to sleep. I love mickey mouse so he is the one im hugging when i go to sleep. And it is a habit i guess. I cant sleep well if i dont hug my pillow or my stuff toy.

I never hold any thing while sleeping it makes me feel uneasy. I want to sleep tight. Even my husband I don't want him to touch me if I'm sleeping if possible i like no one beside me.

I also am not fond of holding anything while sleeping... but i do hug my daughter so that she will easily fall asleep... and when she does... then i will let go and get my own sleep without holding anything... that is think is more comfortable... i also wonder why other grown ups need something like a doll or a pillow to hug or hold just to fall asleep...

Hi friend,My teenage daughter holds teddy ,dolls while sleeping.Not only her but many girls have picked up this habit of collecting colourful teddys and dolls.It has become their hobby to collect teddys.Whenever we go out shopping she pesters me to buy a teddy and I get irritated because I would have shortage of money always only when I go out to shop.she also has the habit of collecting and holding one everyday while sleeping.sometimes I feel like laughing and sometimes irritated by her behaviour.Holding teddy while sleeping has become a fashion nowadays, thanks for sharing.happy mylotting.

Yes i do have teddy bear but i just put it beside me. I cant sleep with out looking at my teddy bear. The one that i am holding is a pillows for i am a pillow person, usually i am using 5 pillows with me one for my head, one for my eyes to cover, one for arms, one for my legs, and one for my feet.

I do have a teddy with me in bed when I am sleeping without a partner, I didn't hold it althrough the night but most of the time I am hugging it because I can't get to sleep without feeling that there is something or someone beside me. It's just a comfort for me from feeling lonely in bed, and fill the space too because I have queen size bed.

I used to hug a teddy bear while sleeping. That was 6 years ago until I knew I had an allergy to dusts and the like. It was a teddy bear which my boyfriend gave me 7 years ago during Christmas, when we were only friends and he was still courting me. It was such a huge teddy bear in brown color. It was so soft and cuddly. Sadly, I have to put it away, on top of my cabinet because of my allergy. I am still glad that even if I can not hug it anymore, I can still see it. It really makes me smile as it reminds me on how my boyfriend and I started out as partners in life.

no i don't hold teddy bear when i sleep but i do hug my pillow when i sleep. i have a pillow under my feet i also have in my side. i feel secure with my pillows all over me, i don't know if there's an explanation with this or we just get used to it because we started doing it when we're still a baby.

i donot know .i used to hold a big fluffy bear when i was small,i soon outgrew that habit.now my kids do have that habit.

I don't hold a teddy while sleeping but I have a big pillow to embrace while drifting to sleep. The feeling of being comforted by a certian object can assure me of a nice sleep.
