The best love story in a movie?

Just wondering what everyone's thoughts were on love stories. I personally would rate "The Notebook" and "Titanic" right up there at the top of my all time faves - I am a sucker for the love stories - What are some of your faves?

I was actually going to say The Notebook when I saw this discussion! I would also rate Moulin Rouge as a fantastic love story. Real love against all odds and with a fantastically tragic ending. And of course you can't forget Romeo And Juliette

If you are sucker for love stories, you must try to watch korean love stories. You could start with My Sassy Girl and Windstruck. My favorite was my Sassy girl (korean version) and message in a bottle.

I agree that My Sassy Girl is good. And I would like to add WINDSTRUCK because it is very nice too. It made me have goosebumps after I watched the movie especially in the scene where the girl Jeon Ji-hyeon was in the room where her hair was blown by the wind and some windmill-like papers are being blown by the wind. I and my husband loves that film. Also GHOST, we haven't watched it yet but we have a copy of the movie here. He just told me that the movie is nice.

My favourite love stroy is the 'Titanic'. All other love stories are child-like in front of 'Titanic'. Titanic rises ablove the ordinary love. It is not an ordinary romance, it is the uniting of two souls, it is the merging of two people .

Have you seen The Last of the Mohicans? I think the romance between the two main characters is only heightened by the backdrop of historical significance. That movie gets me every time! As for The Notebook, it is my sister's favorite love story of all time. And that is saying something since she also loves the movies made from the books Anne of Green Gables.

Hi heyurock.. I have three topmost fave movies of all time. 1) IF ONLY 2) Love Struck 3) SASSY GIRL.. I can watch those movies over and over again. *sigh! Those movies make me so mushy over love and drift me to a river of fantasy..

my favorite love story is titanic the story was good it was not boring like the other love stories we can see the movie any number of times and you get bored watching it any number of times
