Swedish researchers create body-swap illusion

Researchers using closed-circuit televisions to create an illusion have made volunteers virtually swap bodies, even making women believe they were in a man's body and vice-versa. The experiment, reported in the Public Library of Science journal PLoS ONE on Tuesday, shows it is possible to manipulate the human mind to create the perception of having another body, the Swedish researchers said. Anybody wants to experience this? I would feel strange for sure. I am happy to be a man and I don't have the slightest wish to be a woman. I would not need to wear high heels or do make up in the morning.

I'm with you. I'm very happy being a woman. I have no desire to go to the bathroom standing up :) But, it just shows you the power of the mind.

I think it would be something fun to try. It is amazing what hey come up with these days. I would think alot would like to try it to just see what the experience would be like.

That will be interesting.. Just an illusion, but without having to go thru the real process in body swapping.. lol =D IN a way, one will know the difficulties of being each gender, and thus makes us understand each other even better.. haha
This is also good for ple whom wanna cross dress, or wanna change gender, this might be one way for them to go thru, b4 they really make up their mind and not regret their decision.. haha

But just for the heck of it, it would be fun to see what i'd look like as a man..lol..who knows i may wind up liking it and want to switch..lol..
