don you hate food?

I know that this may seem funny but I really do hate food. I eat all the time and I can never loose any weight. I eat when I get up and then have a snack before lunch and then in the afternoon about three I have to have something cause of my hunger pains and then a big supper to tie me over until I have some chocolates before going to bed. I just wish I could stop eating so much. How about you? Crocket.

[i]Hi Crocket, I am not a good cook and when hubby is working, I eat less....LOL! I will only eat oatmeal and some rice with whatever viand we have in the fridge! I don't snacks too especially when I am busy working online! I will forget eating! LOL! But, I eat a lot when hubby will cook! LOL! I love his food and if only Mom and dad lives bear us, I know I will gain a lot of weight! LOL! In your case, just try to get busy, and self control![/i]

I have to have some good staples to live on. My two biggest staples are oatmeal and potatoes.. I have about five mini meals a day.. two of them oatmeal, one a large baked potato, later a salad, then later some veggies and lean meat (or meat I've hard pressed the fat out of, between paper towels and pressing plates) I also have a sandwich at some time made with whole wheat bread and lean meat, usually deli turkey (so maybe that's a staple too!) All this adds up to about 1/2 to 2/3's the daily recommended amounts for calories, fats and carbs.. If I go around hungry and trying to 'lose weight' everything gets topsy turvy and I start over eating (cause I'm starving!) I think the same is true if I eat foods that aren't substantial/healthy. For desserts I will have a 1/2 cup of baked pumpkin sweetened with aspartame/nutrasweet and a 1/2 cup of instant sugar free pudding.. or maybe some sugar free jello with the pudding on some days. On weekends though, I will have whatever dessert everyone else is having, and don't follow much of my diet so this is the time to have pizza or any sort of noodle dish, as those are forbidden on my 'diet' days! (I can of course switch a weekend day with a diet day if I have to!) - I use a flavored mustard for the sandwiches and a light (salad) dressing (usually ranch) mixed with equal parts water for salads, potatoes and veggies.

I really love food! I just love to eat, I love flavours! I love everything about it except for the feeling you get when you're hungry. But it feels great when you get to satisfy your hunger so I guess that's why I love food. And probably it's also because I almost never gain weight. But then again, I guess I eat pretty healthy. ^^

Self control darling. That's all I can tell you. I'm not fat but I did used to be a smoker. I've been quit for a few years now. Same can be done about the eating. Get some gum to chew when you are hungry and go for healthy foods at meal times. Don't skip breakfast. I've read its harder to lose weight doing that.
