Can anyone shed any light on this?

I was sent a notification to tell me someone had responded to a discussion of mine. When I clicked on it, it wasn't there! I went through the whole discussion looking for this person's response so that I can comment on it but it just isn't there. They haven't put their response on the end of someone else's either. The users name just isn't there at all but I have the notification for it still, and I have even read the response!
Does anyone have any idea as to what is going on here? Is it one of those myLot mysteries?

Hi Humbug, If you have receivedf an email notification of the response and yet it is not within your discussion it may be that someone reported the response and it has been deleted but not your discussion as only post reported. When I had a discussion deleted once I could still read the respones via email but if I went to respond the discussion no longer existed. Either that or it is just one of myLots mysteries. Huggles. You won't see anything about it being deleted because it is a response only and not your discussion. If the entire discussion is deleted then that would be the time you'll see a note that it is deleted already but you see nothing if it is just a response in your discussion.

As I mentioned earlier that the notification you received was sent ahead of time before the response was deleted. You won't get any notification if a discussion is deleted nor the response. If a discussion will be deleted you only see the note when you visited or respond to it in myLot site already and not in your email notification. On the other hand, you won't see any note in myLot when it is deleted, if it is a response or a comment.
