i have a friend - a girl, who told me that she have a boyfriend and that the boy keep on saying that he love her for no reason. he just love her. and yet, they are now almost three years of couple.

the boy must have read paulo coelho's alchemist. the book says something like that when you love, you must love for no reason. love is the reason itself. well, it sounds so ideal. it may be true but humans as we are, we still need something to hold on to from our partner. we still need a little of predictability to be able to see our future. and having reasons for loving provides us a glimpse of the person loving and the grasp of the feeling of love and being loved.

So they've been together 3 years. Whats the problem exactly? sounds like he may really love her if hes stuck around for that long. Maybe hes just forgotten exactly why and needs a reminder
