When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on."-Franklin D. Roosevelt I love this thought, can you think of knots that you are using?

MyLot's my favorite knot. When things get too hectic, I go online for a little while. When I need a break from the most boring thing I can think of (grading papers when it's almost 200 of the same thing, mistakes and all!), I get a little reinvigoration by changing the subject. I tend to become a hermit because of having so much I have to do, so it's a great change of pace to be in touch with my friends.

I have heard that saying all my life and do pretty well most of the time with following its advise. However here lately my knots have knots and I'm running out of rope real fast. Here's another one for you. "My mother warned me there would be days like this, she just didn't tell me they would come in bunches like bananas."

I've heard this quote before and it is really fitting in today's society. I use my family and friend as my knots. I hang on for them. They are what keeps me going everyday, even when I feel like giving up or letting go of the rope. I know they won't let me let go of the rope. This is a good topic.

Hey Savy! Nice thought. OK let's see what I can come up with here. "If someone hurts you, betrays you , or breaks you heart, forgive them. For they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to who you open your heart to." "Not only strike when the iron is hot, but make it hot by striking." by Oliver Cromwell "Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you either."
