My husband went out and said it was minus 6 degrees F. Yesterday was in the teens and twenties. So this is amazing. It's supposed to be in the teens at some point today. What is the weather like where you live?

Apparently, around 12:30 the winds were still and by 1 they had picked up and come around from the north and the temp is dropping fast!

We haven't had much for winds since the white outs, thank goodness.

That's pretty wild. You get weather from the North, too? On the Canadian border, I understand that we'll get that a certain percentage of the time, but you're pretty far down there. Take care.

Last night it was 10 below zero here, will chill factor. It was just awful. The wind about knocked me over more than once. Today it's in the teens and sunny. By this weekend it's suppose to be close to 60 degrees. This is typical for St. Louis weather. We experience all kinds in a short amount of time.

It is zero degrees F where we live. It sounds a lot colder if I put it in celcius, but I do not think depression is that good for me. So I put the weather report in f to make myself feel a lot better. It is too cold though. Will stay home. It will be a bit higher tomorrow, though - just a teenie little bit.

Every little bit counts, esp. if after awhile it gets to a nice amount above zero. Take care

We're expecting the mid-80s today. We had a couple of days of upper 70s, but that didn't last. Miami's almost always hot and sticky. I can't understand how all you northerners cope with the snow and sleet and slush and cold air! I'd never want to get out of bed! I'd have to have a fireplace in every room, as "normal" heating systems dry ut the air too much. Then I'd probably stand in front of the fireplace most of the time, rather than shiver. Don't you suffer in the cold?

I only used to suffer because of my arthritis. Now it's that and menopause. But sometimes I could take could with menopause. If I could have stayed young and without arthritis, I could have been fine forever. When I retire, I intend to stock a nice wood stove. Take care

Hopefully not tooo cold with no ground cover. We've had sub-zero with no ground cover and that freezes pipes. Thanks and take care.

This morning it was 31 degrees out. Yesterday morning it was in the 20's in the morning, but I am not sure what the temperature got up too. Most of the winter around here it is in the 20's and 30's.

Our winter usually isn't too bad, but every once in awhile it gets these zero and sub-zero spells. Thanks for commenting and take care.

It is very changeable. It was extremely cold yesterday and this morning, but this week by Weds. It is supposed to be in the 60's and raining. So changeable is the word of the day in terms of the weather.
