I have never eaten a seafood salad till yesterday. It was my friend's birthday yesterday and we went to a restaurant. We ordered shrimp salad to try it for the first time. I really liked the taste. Have you ever tasted a seafood salad? How did you like it?

I loved to eat all kinds of seafood and seafood salad it was always one of my favorites. However about nine years ago I went out with a few friends and we had a shrimp salad and I began to get very sick and ended up having to go to the doctor where I was told that I had a very bad allergy to seafood. I thought this was strange seeing how I had always eaten it while growing up but they told me that the severe reactions can appear at anytime and I shouldn't eat them anymore. Well I had to test that out so I tried one more time and My whole face started to swell and I had to be rushed back to the hospital. I was than told it could be fatal if I kept trying to eat seafood. I have never tried to eat any since but it still bothers me that I can't and that I could eat them for so long and be fine but now if I do I end up in the hospital.

To be honest I am not a great lover of seafood my friend, and apart from prawns, cod, mackerel and tuna these are the only seafoods that I will eat, I am not adventurous and won't try any exotic seafoods, once I was dished up a plate of squid and it tasted like rubber, yuk it was revolting, so that has put me off most seafoods. I think I would have a salad of just prawns nothing else.

I love seafood and seafood salad. Once I mixed it with Amish pasta salad. It was wonderful. I like all kinds of salads. For something different make a regular salad, add some chicken chunks, some shredded cheese and some salsa. The salsa is lower in calories and you won't miss the fat from regular dressings. Mmmmmm.
