What type of band would like to sing for?

If you had the skill what genre of music would you prefer to perform? What type of band would be best suited to your style? Would you rather play an instrument? If so then which one? Which songs would you most like to cover?

I have actually sang in a band before. I enjoyed it very much but most bands are made up of young beautiful people so that is not something I would get to do again, probably. However, you asked which genre we would choose. For me it would have to be country western. This type of music speaks to my personality and best suits my voice.

you don't really have to be young to be in a band. The Rolling Stones come to mind. But then the Rolling Stones could be 90, in wheelchairs and barely able to speak and still people would come to their concerts!

well if you really want to be a DJ and are good at it there is no reason why you can't be. Life is all about following your dreams :)

If I could sing (big IF), maybe musical theater. I wouldn't mind learning piano. One of these years...

If given a chance, I would like to join Matchbox Twenty and Santana. I like their kind of music. It rocked my world when these two bands joined to sing Smooth. Couldn't ask for more! I would like to play drums.

If I could have a choice I would like to play bass and sing in a band but it's hard to be able to play as good and sing as good at the same time. I would like to sing in an art rock band, industrial band, metal band, or perhaps even rap a little bit. I really like singing though I try to practice whenever I can but I usually only do when I'm by myself.
