Blog or website?

Do you prefer maintaining a blog or a full website? I used to like websites but trying to built one even with drag n drop tools seems so tedious. I have so many things to incorporate into a site and it becomes too diversed to attract readership. I prefer blogs these days because they force me to stay on one niche purpose. However, the bane of blogs is, I end up with too many blogs, one for each purpose in mind. Also websites tend to look washed out if it is not designed well but a blog looks professional in just a few clicks. What do you think?

I think that I would prefer writing a blog. I don't exactly know a whole lot about web design. Although, I suppose I could learn if I put the effort in. The hardest part, I think, is figuring out where to place all that code so the web site looks good. I like the idea of owning a web site. I may look into building a web site in the future, maybe after the New Year.

Yes,I also feel that ablog allows me to start writing right away but setting up a website takes designing effort and by the time I am done with it I will still be dissatisfied with the design and I lost the urge to write. Thank you for replying!

I have both, but I prefer my blog. The website is now more like a squeeze page. I'm trying to figure out how to get people to lick or opt-in. I think it has to do with my webcopy which I'm going to figure out eventually how to master. Blogs tend to index faster because their content is newer. You can DIGG it or put it into blogcatalog as well. Or ping it with pinggoat.com.
