Another mess in my life today

Hi GRANDPA BOB, I think we all done that, put things down and can't find it and all the time ists staring at us, my husband is very fond of losing things and I have to always find it for him without leaving my computer, you see I know where he puts thing more then he does, but I have looked for my glasses high and low until I scratch my head and find them sitting on my head. I am so glad you found the coupons. As you know I am looking for pictures of our white Christmas we had in 04 and I can't find them. If I had left them out on a table like you have then I could find them but since I put them up somewhere that is why I have no idea where they are. I think I am looking too hard and it seems like maybe you were looking too hard too.

Actually I took them and was going to leave a Brownie in their place but i figured you old people need a break from here..

My house is tidy Bob, so I would not worry because it took me two days to find my daughters concert ticket last week. I put things away for safe keeping, but they are too safe keeping if you know what I mean. I am really glad you found them again. That trip must be soon. I bet your looking forward to it.

One of my new year's resolutions this year is to get myself and my boyfriend more organized...... I'm not sure that I will accomplish this or not... I am the most unorganized person in the world... well ok... I guess not in the world, but i'm probably up there with the top ten. LOL! My boyfriend is a pack rat..... I'm surprised if we ca get dressed and out the door with everything that we need without loosing ourselves in the process. We climb over things, walk around things, trip over things... the other day I fell in a laundry basket.. we just don't have enough room... we need our own place, we live with his parents. When we've had our own place, we've been messy, but organized messy.... if that makes sense.

Urgh! Nothing frustrates me more. Nothing! I have controlled messes, aka stacks. I feel like I know what is in every stack, I mean I do,... I do, really I do. But then there is that one thing that will just not be in the stack I put it in. Urgh.

You mean you lost something and went on searching for it only to find that it was right under your nose all this while? LOL!! Well, that has happened to me so many times. I have hunted for my spectacles while all along, I had them right on my nose. Cheers and happy mylotting

somehow it doesn't surprise me that you started this discussion LOL. i don't loose things around the house, since i have certain places that things go. i keep paperwork, bills, etc, in specific places. and it's the reason my s/o sends me emails to remind him of dates, etc to me....he knows i'll keep up with it.

Ocassonally I do.....and recently I accidently threw out some postage stamps that I had mixed in with some other junk mail...had sorted it all and had it in piles and I put it in the wrong pile!!!!! Dang it anyway!

I hate when this kind of thing happens to me to Grandpa Bob I know the feeling. We all do this at one time or another so know your not alone in this dept. lol The most famouse one for me is losing the one and only tv remote omg it drives me nuts. They need to invent some device that all you have to do is press a button and the device leads you right to where it is. That's good to know that you found the coupons to the casino.

Hey Grandpa Bob! Since you are so good at finding things tell me where my Walmart gift card is from the can or paint that my boyfriend returned for me and gave me the card! I can't find it anywhere! I ahve searched everywhere! I cleaned out the draws, my handbag, all the mess papers, and I have no idea where I put it! That's $9 I might have thrown out! I even sort of looked behind the dresser, but there's about a foot of dust back there! It's only been 6 month's since it was cleaned! So, where is it? My fear is that I might have thrown it out! But how could I have been such an idiot! I'm like #24 in that category! Help me Grandpa Bob!

yes, that's a big mess...but if it makes you feel better, lots of us have the same. lately, I try to put all my coupons in one place, the moment I have them.And it helps.The same place , all the time, so I know where to go and look for them. A good thing that I've seen in store, is a key holder that responds to your whistle. You could hang the coupons in a bag, and attach the key holder to the bag. This way, If you loose them again, just whistle and they'll answer.

This is a constant state with my desk. I clean it off and within minutes it's looking like this. Usually I can find almost anything on it within seconds, but I do really need to clean it up today. I need to find our metro pass because we're going downtown for a concert tomorrow. I think the pass is on my desk, but I'm not sure...

I don't blame you. It happens a lot with my keys. I do lose my keys so easily and most of the times they are under my nose on the computer table. I am glad that you found them.

If you saw my computer desk you wouldn't even have to ask that question. LOL! I am constantly losing stuff in the piles of papers and other miscellaneous STUFF that has accumulated. Hubby always tells me to look in the last place I put the item (which is usually the desk). I tell him if I knew where that was I wouldn't have to search for it. Hahahaha

HO no you must be my long lost brother heehee. My office looks like your desk. I need to clean my office but do not seem to find the time to do it. I do find the time to clean every other part of the house but not my office.

I lose things like this all the time. I'm glad you found them. It sounds like such a great trip, I'd hate to see you miss out.
