It depends on what the child is crying about. If they want candy but I am getting ready to serve dinner than I will let them cry it out, or if they want something in the store but cant afford it then I will let them cry it out. If I know they are crying because they are over tired I will take into my arms with there blankie and sippies cup, sit in my rocking chair and rock themto sleep then my husband will put them to bed. Basically it depends on what they are crying about.

Good answer. I do think it depends on the situation. Mainly, I mean crying it out during the night when they wake up. :-)
