tntvdm I don't know if anyone is every fully ready financially, but I do feel I was emotionally ready. I was 25 years old (and 2 days, LOL) when I had my first. I think a lot of the emotional readiness comes with having a reliable husband or support system.

tntvdm You could try wetting and freezing a baby washcloth and then let the baby chew on it! My son loves that. My kids didn't get teeth until 10 & 11 months, though.

tntvdm I agree, but it has to be the REAL dark chocolate, like the natural, hardly sweet, dark chocolate. Not the kind you get from Hershey's or other candy companies like that.
