journal entry ideas

What are some ideas to write about in a journal? Do you have a journal? If So, what kind is it? A dream journal, nature journal, creative journal? There are so many different kinds it's hard to know where to start. Is your journal a plain notebook or did you choose something more special for your thoughts?

I have had different kinds of journals in the past. One of them was a dream journal where I wrote down my dreams. It was pretty interesting to read it later on and I was able to see a clear pattern in many of dreams. I have also had a kind of creative journal where I wrote down my ideas for stories or poems. Sometimes I wrote my unfinished poems in my journal, so that I could work on them later on. I also like to write about my daily life, my thoughts and my feelings. I started writing a diary 10 years ago and I have 13 diaries by now
