I am very forgetful. I often forget an appointment.Once the management committee meeting of a school was scheduled at 4 PM. i organised every thing as the secretary and fixed up with the Chairman that we would start sharp at 4 PM. and later i forgot. I did not go for the meeting and later in the evening when the Chairman rang me up and asked me where was I, I was dumbfounded. He said that the meeting was scheduled at 4 PM and suddenly everything came flooding back to me. What a blunder i had committed. Since then whenever I have any appointment, i immediately set an alarm on my mobile. how do you remember your appointments?

I have a calender hung in the kitchen with huge boxes around the days.I write everything from when the bills are due to appointments. I look at it as I enter my kitchen and it helps me keep up with things.

I like this way of memorizing events and appointment: Calendar. Because as for mobile phone: they tend to break, run out of the batteries, can be stolen, and so on. And the memory of human being is not unlimited, so the amount of appointments that one can keep in this mind is quite small. But thing about calendar is...that it is at home. What would You do if someone changes the appointment time or day, and You forget to change it in the calendar that was left at home? And on the appointment day you go where you were supposed to go, and realize that this was one of those appointments that changed a time and day?

I have a little notebook in my purse I jot notes down on sometimes for just those occasions.I usually change appointments from home though .It probably wouldn't be bad idea to have a small pocketbook size calender if your on the go and change appointments by cell.I used to carry one but now I just use the one at home.It helps me stay organized.lol I need all the help I can get.

I always set an alarm and a list of my appointments, coz I also keep on forgetting things if I would rely on remembering my schedules... I also ask my kids to remind me of the things that I'm going to do...

Since I am the only person seeing to my own business,I use my mobile as a secretary for me.The calendar facility with its remainder alarm helps me a lot, sceduling my appointments. Before getting a cell phone,I use to write down my 'to dos' in a paper and follow it.Now it is very easy to handle the same with my mobile. Thanks to the technology!

If that appointment is really important then I don't tend to forget but sometimes I do, that's why I set my phone on alarm to remind me.

I don't have many appointments, but if i do, they start coming in in a big bunch, and that when i need to write them down. But when i know it's nearing an appointment, i'll just set an alarm on my mobile, just so that i won't be late for it.

I usually write things down on paper and when I've done doing a certain thing, I tick it off the list. You can say that I schedule myself, although I don't get to follow it to the letter. But still, I get to do what I need to do at a certain time because of my handy list...n.n

I am really bad at remembering appointments if it's with friends. If it's professional appointments though, I always make it a point to remember. I put in my alarms, or have someone send me a text message so I can definitely remember. Luckily, there's never been a time that I missed professional appointments.

Hi there, i normally can remember my appointments. I just remember in my mind automatically. If i were the person who schedule everything, then it's impossible for me to forget. But if there are too many appointments for a certain period, then i will record them into my mobile phone just to avoid i will forget them. For me, i tend to forget my friends' name and birthday. I'm very forgetful about these things. I don't know why. So in your case, did you schedule another meeting or you rush to the meeting at that time?

I always write my appointment on my wall calendar in the kitchen. I also have my husband doing the same thing. We all seem to check the calendar now and since we have been doing that we have not missed any appointments. I also carry a pocket size calendar with the same appointment marked to make sure that we do not over book. Merry Christmas to all..

I'm not that forgetful so I'm not used to setting an alarm. But there are times that I forgot that I had appointments. I only use my mobile alarm if I have to wake up early in the morning coz that's my very big problem since I was a kid. It's really hard for me to wake up very early.

I you kidding I would forget my name if people stoped using it. Right now I am so forgetful its not funny (I am pregnant and blame it on the hormones). So far this week I lost my husbands debit card and the tickets for the ruffle at my sons school due back at school on minday (so now I have to clean the study to find both last seen in the room). I have to write things down I have a A4 paper stuck on the door and write all my appointments.

I'm going to get a calendar around so I can have a list of upcoming appointments. I don't usually have that many, so I can go a time without missing anything.

I am the one who organise stuff for our General Manager and no way I can flunk out and hope he forgive me. That put the fear in me and I maintain his schedule in every medium I can find, paper, electronic, human, anything that will make sure I don't forget....cos he will forget and guess who gets the blame if he miss a meeting? I used to trust my memories for this kind of things but nowadays I find I have no extra brainpower to remember things I can record down so I scribble on PostIT pads and stick them everywhere. For appointments I rely totally on my cellphone calendar, thank goodness for its invention! Even tv programmes I want to catch will be on my phone so it will ring on cue, even weekly programmes gets forgotten by me so you can see how bad my memory is.

I try and write the scheduled appontment down on my calendar to help me remember. I will look at the calendar everyday so it's rare do I forget any appointments I make. I hope that with you puting an alarm on your phone with a scheduled date that it should help you now to remeber your appointments good luck.

I dont forget them easily but i do keep alarm on the mobile to be on the safe side, because i can forget it anytime. But i am really forgetful for anniversaries and birthdays. I usually have in mind even a week ago about birthdays, but during that week i forget, so now i have started keeping alarm for birthdays of my freinds and family members.
