On to off

To my lovely wonderful dear friends on mylot,
Just to let you know that I have had to turn you all from on to off.
Life is just soo busy on the lead up to Christmas with christmas things/family/ trying to get extra hours in at work and so forth I haven't so much time to spend in mylot. You all my friends keep sending me loads and loads of lovely discussions to respond to and I haven't the time at the mo to reply to you all, and that is sooo very sad, so I have had to turn you all off for a while as all your wonderful e mails keep blocking my e mail box up etc.
I shall still be popping into mylot, hopefully every day for a very short time to see what is going on, starting a few discussions and answering other people's discussions as they appear across the top of the pc screen and popping into the no response section as I used to like going there alot. So if I don't answer your doscussions that is why and hopefully I will catch up with some of you along the top screen when I respond to people's discussions. In the new year when the wonderful children have gone back to school I shall be able to turn you all back on again and get back to normal.
If you wish you can send me private messages and if you start a discussion that you think I will have a very good answer to please pm me and then when I have chance I will go and look for it and answer it for you.
Fingers crossed that with having you all turned off I shall come across you as I travel around mylot and we can still chat to each other.
Hoping that you will all understand why I have turned you all off, not because you aren't my friends anymore or that I don't want to be your friend anymore, because I so badly do, just that life is getting busy and a great lack of time to answer all discussions that come through to my e mail, and that makes me feel bad and sad.

christmas season really makes us busy. but i am still glad to see you that you can still afford to start discussion even you are nusy. we parents with toodlers are really most busy person when christmas is coming. i dont think turning it off is fair but that is your style and i will not be against it. i just hope you havea wonderful christmas and a lucky new year. cheers

I do feel very very bad at turning you all off, but at least I have explained why and keeping you in the no of what I am doing, so I do feel that is fair explaining my movements and what I am up to etc rather than just ignoring you all until January, and I will be answering discussions as well as I explained in my discussion, just didn't want anyone to be worried about me not doing much or people thinking I was ignoring them, they may feel that I had upset them for some reason, which no one has upset me at all.
Thanking you my friend for not holding it against me, at least you know why I'm not repling directly to any of the discussions you start, and hopefully we will pass ships along the top discusions or in the no responses section.

I am sure that no one will hold it against you. To be honest I turned all mine off a couple of months ago and only recently I have switched some back on. It is hard at the best of times to keep up with everyone but even worse at this time of the year with so much to do!

Thanks for your kind words, hopefully we will pass each other like ships along the discussions along the top of the page of mylot or in the no responses section (hopefully not there!!)
Thank you for being so understanding. Hopefully some days I shall be able to be here longer than others, but I have been flooded with discussions from my friends and feel bad that I can't answer any of them.
Roll on January when I shall be able to turn you all back on again, I'm not gone, still here.

I understand, take all the time you need for your family, don't worry about me. I will be here I have nothing on my hand but time. I am now jobless. I will miss seeing you around. Like this weekend it was so sad and loney here at MyLot. I just logged out and took a nap.
If I don't get a chance to I want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family.

Thank you for the great discussion letting everyone know that you will be gone for a while. It is weird how when I have more time to be on here, you consequently have a lot less. O well, I am sure will be fine. Have some fun with your family over the Holidays and enjoy your break, it will be worthwhile to see your childrens' smiling faces.

lol =D That's nice of u to explain that to us ^_^ We, mylotters, will understand it and not hold it against u ^_^ PLus, just 6 days after christmas, will be new yr again, and that's the time whereby u will be really busy again.. TAking down of christmas deco, and getting ready for new yr.. hehe ^_^
Hope u have fun in those occasions, and mylot, as well your all our frezn will welcome u back anytime soon again ^_^ hehe

Well it will be sad around here, I myself enjoy answering your posts, they are always so easy to understand and easy to answer, but I do understand about being so busy that its hard to get on here sometimes, and like you said, I have so many good friends here too, that their posts fill up my inbox and its hard to try to go thru them all, sometimes I end up having to delete some, because theres just too many to try to answer, but I will remember you, and hope to see you again from time to time...take care...and Have a good day.

happens and is definitely more important than mylot! So I
take no offense that you are a busy working woman and mother
and wife and all those wonderful things! So I wish you much
joy in doing all the things that you need to do and I will
be looking forward to seeing you when you do pop in or when
you are able to come back and start posting again more often!

Just kidding. 
I have been thinking about doing that myself espcially as I shall be away for the new year for a week and i usually get 60 emails easily a day just from my friends who have started discussions. You can't possibly keep up at this time of year and it will only end up stressing you out! The trouble is that if you have got like loads of friends that have their notifications on it will take you ages to go through every single one and turn them off! I wish we could just select all but there is no option to do this!

It's very ironic, but I've recently turned all my friends to "on". ha ha. just so I can be notified to more discussions.
Also, if there is a way to filter your email into folders, why not just do that? That way, when you have time to answer to discussions from your friends, or the "Daily myLot" then you can.

That is fine Anne. I have not been on here much myself, as like you there is far too much that needs sorting out this week for Christmas.
I will catch up when I see you here and reply also when I can to your good discussions.
I will be back as normal in January on MyLot and I cannot wait to catch up with everyone.
