Do Your Children Have Any Webkinz?

Webkinz Roosters - A couple Webkinz Roosters for my daughter and nephew for Christmas
United States

My daughter asked for a Webkinz for Christmas this year. I had never heard of them, but I quickly got educated on them. She said it was a little stuffed animal that you can buy and it comes with a code and you can go online and enter the code and it gives you the animals name and you can play games, etc. I decided to get her and my nephew one for Christmas. I got them both a rooster because I figured they would like it since PaPa has chickens and roosters. I uploaded a photo of them. Do your children have any Webkinz?

My mom and aunt sell these wonderful little guys in their gift shop. www.sweetkreations.com I have 2 of them, a black lab and a black cat. They are really big in children and tweens lately. We get bunches of web orders for them each day. They are really catching on around here. If you want to get more go to that website and see what they've got... They can ship anywhere.... Merry christmas!

my daughter has two of them. she got them for her birthday from the same friend (one last year and one this year) and i bought her the mini kinz which is a polar bear (i totally cant wait to see her face when she opens it!!!) i bought in on ebay. the only problem with webkinz, is that the online part runs out after a year. (my daughter is 11) how old is yours?

My kids don't have any. I have seen them before and I am sure my son would like to have one, but he already has so much junk he does not play with. I am trying to keep his new toy purchases to a minimum and things I know he really wants.

Hi Lilybug, I agree with your method. Restricting the number of toys kids play with helps them to nurture creativity.

yes my kids have webkinz also. They got a couple last years for christmas and ask for a new one again this year also. I don't mind spending the money on these stuff animals because the price isn't to bad for what they are getting. I like that they can have a soft cuddley toy and it offers game to go with it also. Lets see ... I believe we have a turtle, bear, hippo, squirrel, and I forget the other one lol. So yes we have Webkinz in our house also,

My 2 kids are crazy about Webkinz. I hadn't heard of them until last year when both of my kids got one for Christmas. Since then they have gone nuts over them. My daughter has 30 and my son has 25. They have recieved most of them as gifts for birthdays, easter, valentines day and have bought some with their own money. Neither one of them have the chicken, ut my daughter has a duck. Right now she is collecting all of the little birds. My kids newest webkinz are a little chihuahua and a little pug. They got them from Santa when we went to see him after our parade. They are a big thing around here, every kid has one it seems. My kids really enjoy the website. They have a lot of fun activities and games. I think that they have a trial game on the site where you can see what it is about. I'm sure your daughter and nephew will love them.

That is a new one for me singlemommy. I had never heard of them until now, but they really sound like a great fun toy and I am sure your daughter and nephew will love them. The rooster looks really cool. I am going to ask my youngest if she has heard of them, but the UK is always months behind the US with these things so she probably has not.

My two daughters have collected quite a few webkinz over the last year or so. They have a koala, a horse, a moose, a frog, kitty, a dog, penguin, monkey, a fish and a few others. My favorite is the fish though because it comes with an underwater room and when it goes out of its room it has a bubble around its head. It is cute!! There are a lot of educational games and quizzes that earn them money to spend on food and clothes and my kids love playing it and I have found myself liking it to!! They really are a neat present to give to kids.

My daughter has about 15 webkinz now. I think they are great. She has to log on and feed them and play with them to keep them in good health. She gets to design their room depending on what they are(frog has a lilypad bed and lots of swamp, tiger has a jungle room, etc) she even has a garden to grow veggies for them she has to water and till. The games give them a chance to win money to buy extras offered by the website. They even interact with other children on the website through their animals. It's really neat.
