Hahahaha... yes I used to a till few years back but no more now. No points for guessing, I have actually stopped taking those. My resolution to lose weight never got true but blame it on the chocolates. My resolution to switch to another prospective job never materialised - blame it on my wonderful good boss. My resolution to write more and write seriously never came true - and blame it on TIME!! lol... This year , however, I have been wishing for some things in life. I wish I could never run short of my conviction to positivity and my determination to good and may I never lose my humanity (my greatest fear) and righteousness to fight. And if I do not do it - blame it on your friend mimpi!

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking here. Your question doesn't seem to fit the subject heading. As far as being scared of the new year I have to say I am looking forward to it. This last year has really been a bad one so I am looking for a fresh start. If I can only have one resolution I would have to say it is to become more organized. Not only in my physical life but in my time management especially.

Ohh Okay. But being scared and being bored are two entirely different emotions.I don't think it is possible to be both.

Not really now Bala. . There was a time that i would always make a resolution and invariably it would break or i would not be able to achieve it. Now it's work towards what i want in life. Determined and be ready to cross the hurdles. That is a resolution everyday.

My New Years Resolution is to move out from my parents, they done me proud by giving me a roof over my head when I had to escape the ex, but now I feel it's time to move on, I desperately need my own independence and freedom, if it was just my mother then I would happily live with her but it's not and I tolerate my father and it isn't healthy so next year, hopefully June is my target I plan to get myself a job and move out, it is daunting and having to support myself again but also on the other side of the coin it is exciting as well.

Balaji, I am not scared but sad, on loosing 2008. I know the New Year is coming, we should welcome the New Year with happiness and full of expectations but I felt bad 2008 is saying good bye and we never get it back. Usually I am not making any resolution in New Year because I know I will break the same. Why should I take any resolution for breaking (lol). What about you Balaji? Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year.

Not really! i am looking forward to the New Year with excitement and not with fear of anything. Now if the question is what is my new year's resolution- my answer would be- not to make any New Year's resolution i cannot keep. that's not anything to be afraid of. New year's resolutions are just statements of what we would like to do or achieve for the new year but it soes not mean we have to achieve them.

As the Word of God said in 2nd Timothy 1:7 said: "God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and of a sound mind." For this reason, I believe I should have no reason to fear. God does not intend His child to be fearful and hence being His child, I do not have the spirit of fear. Therefore, I believe I have nothing to fear about the New Year and about anything else. I am so secured in the loving hands of God.

To be healthier and be more active and maybe loose 10-20lbs along the way. I used to be very active but for the past years I got lazy that I no longer move much. I plan to take up again dancing and swimming at least 2-3 times a week.

My New Years resolution is to remember not to make any resolutions. Oh yes, there are things that I want to accomplish next year, but I feel as though as soon as I make it a New Years resolution, it becomes to powerful and I have then set myself up for failure. I like to take things gradually. That way I don't have to start it off at the beginning of the year and then put pressure on myself to keep it up. That causes me to be way too hard on myself and that is something that I am really working on. So maybe the only New Years resolution will be to give myself a break and lighten up a little.
