I made a Fruity Parfait. What you need are 1(8 oz) low-fat vanilla yogurt,
1 1/2 cups assorted fresh fruits, 1 cup low-fat granola, 4 strawberries.
You only need to spoon half the yogurt into 3 parfait glasses, top with half of the fruit. Add half of the granola. Repeat, finish it off with granola, the garnish with strawberries.

Another delicious and very nutritious flavor of smoothie is banana. You only need: 1/2 cup non-fat dried milk, 3/4 cup of water, 1 banana, some ice cubes. You only need to combine all the ingredients in the blender until smooth. Believe me, it really tastes good.. You'll gonna love it!

Are you sure you used fresh and clean fruit? Maybe add alittle honey or something. I am sure that Smoothie King puts syrup and so forth to make it take good. If you want it natural and healthy you will have to give up alittle of the sweetness I am thinking.

I know the fruit was fresh and clean i had just bought it that day. I added choc. to give it flavor. It didn't really help. I would just go to smoothie king everyday but its expensive.

When you buy a smoothie, no matter how natural they claim it is, there are ingredients that help to enhance the flavour.
A trick I was taught was to use frozen fruits, berries being the best. Not sure why, but they provide the best flavouring.
Another tip is to use plain yoghurt, not flavoured, because plain gives the fruits and flavourings you add to your smoothie the background for your chosen flavours.
The riper the banana, the more flavour you are going to get from it, so avoid using greener ones in smoothies.
Obviously, the more fruit you add to your smoothie, the stronger the flavour is going to be.
Did you know that the type of milk you use can affect the flavour? Full cream milks hold the flavour better because of the full cream. Low and no fat (skim milks) are watery in flavour to begin with, so naturally, your smoothie is going to be more watery if you use these.

Try smoothies with lots of fruit than milk and ice, and without sugar content. the sweetness comes from the fruit itself.
