Disrespectful?

I was invited to a New Year's Eve party recently by a guy who I think likes me. He told me how he's been hosting NYE parties for the past few years now. I asked him what he did. If it went good and if he had fun. Everything sounded ok, until he told me about the kiss. He told me he kissed some girl and was holding a drink in one hand and put up the middle finger to take a picture. Do you think is a disrespectful thing to do when kissing someone?
