I really hate typing out on computer though it is a muchfaster and more practical method of comleting our tasks in a short time frame. However, when a personal touch is needed, I prefer writing on the greeting cards rather than sending an e-card. What do you feel?

When it comes to writing articles or reviews, I prefer to type on the computer. As for sending cards, I think I will send e-cards, it is more environmentally friendly. But I used to be interested to make my own greeting cards. Whn I have the spare time, it'd make them and send them off, it's more personal, I feel.

I can write clearly and legibly wen I need to, and sometimes it is more proper and fitting to hand-write things, but I prefer to use the computer to type things as much as possible. I like the fact that the computer offers the opportunity to edit and proofreads stuff before you print it or post it to the web. The tools such as the spellchecker helps to eliminate mistakes. I also like the fact that documents can be saved on a disk or some other storage device without being printed if hard copies are not needed. This allows people to conserve paper, which eliminates a lot of waste. The ability to save files electronically instead of having hard copies of everything also makes it easier to transport large amounts of information from one place to the other. It is a lot easier to save hundreds or thousands of pages of information or writing onto a disk and put that disk in your pocket and go than it is to try to carry the same information around in the form of hundreds or thousands of pieces of paper. I still write things out the old-fashioned way when I need to, but for the most part, I try to use my computer whenever possible.

I consider myself antiquated especially on current technology like current cell phones but I prefer using the computer for writing. I think my handwriting has deteriorated as a result of this and I have only one pen which I use for marking the lotto cards. cheers!!

I love writing on a keyboard, because I am a trained touch typist and I don't need to look at the keys as I type. For writing articles, blog posts and emails I find it much easier quicker and cheaper to do it on a computer. I still think greetings cards are better than an e-card. Cards can be displayed in the home, and enjoyed by all the family. It also seems more personal than an electronic greeting.

I use my computer a lot, but I also like to write by hand. I still have a couple of snail mail penfriends and many of my letters are still written by hand, but I also write a lot of emails. Christmas cards and other greetings cards are usually handwritten, I want to give them a personal touch. I also write poems by hand, it feels more natural that way.

I like typing on the keyboard, as it is very fast, and my hand and fingers will not be that tired. Also, it is a good exercise for our fingers too. But, I love writing, as it gives me different feeling. I think my handwriting is quite presentable, and keep writing making it even nicer. Also, sometimes if I don't write for a long time, I tend to forget how to write the words. Typing is different from writing.

yes i agree that a personalized message is better off than electronic ones because they are much easier and more convenient. Something which we exert effort for is something worthy.
