I think that mermaid might be living deep under sea. Maybe beneath the sea, there is a huge city where mermaid is living. They might have more advance technology than us. I think that mermaid do exist. Maybe those UFO sightings are the technology of mermaid.
What do you think?

Hmm I can agree that they did exist because of the process of evolution. But if they are still existing in the present, I doubt it. But then again, there are still unchartered territories in all of the earth and no man has ever scoured the deepest of the oceans and seen for themselves how it is under there so I have an open mind about it. But mermaids tied with UFO's,..Im sorry but I have to disagree, cause if mermaids were half fish they'd need water and UFO's are waay up in the skies, they might die from being too dried out. Id believe it more if UFO's are tied with reptiles. Well, Im just hypothesizing after all, just giving my opinion.^_^
Happy Holidays!^_^

Who really knows for sure? Stranger things have occurred. The oceans and seas are extremely large and we don't really know about all the living creatures in the ocean, especially in the deep waters so you never know. The legends/fairytales are probably based on something that someone saw. I think it could possibly be.
Every day you see that scientists are finding new frogs, new birds, new insects, etc. So why couldn't this be something that we just have not documented yet?
Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

Anything is possible. I have seen movies about a fantasy world under or deep in the ocean. I do not know if it is real or not. I have heard stories from fishermen about mermaids and wondered if they were true or not. If you find out let us know.

well as far as science is concerned I do not think that they exist.. I mean come on frenz then they might have come to our notice by this time.. But yes ofcourse there are many mistries which are unsolved..If we imagine that way then existence of Mermaid might be a possibility..
But otherwise when I was young I used to believe this..
But now as I am a complete science person i would like to see proof before i truly believe in that..you can understand that.. Though many documentary movies are giving proof but are they trustworthy? what do you say?

I think mermaids are confused with dolphins which have been recorded saving drowning people at times. Other then that I think many sea voyages were very long and they made for great story telling material.

I don't think so.All mermaid stories are fairy tales. You are very imginative.I think there is no scientific basis of your imagination.

In my opinion, the mermaids and other fairytales creatures maybe exist but in other dimension. I think they exist in the same dimension as the spirits around us. Well, it is only my assumtion. It can only be proven if there's a machine or a doorway to go to other dimensions.

Hi
Let me share my opinion .I am from india, our Hindu religion books have many stories about mermaids. Above the waist it is woman with boobs, below the waist it is fish like. One can see them in our mythological movies and books.
They are known as ‘Matshya-kanya’; means ‘Fish-woman’. Long back I heard about fisherman catching something similar in some seashore.
Recently a doctor friend sent a photo to me. It looks like one, but he clearly told me it was of a baby, having birth defect.
I think mermaids are imaginary characters only.
Thank you so much for this nice discussion..
Professor. . Cheers, have a great day ahead.
God bless you. Welcome always.
