Things are very troublesome in the world, how are you coping with it. Can you give us some of your ideas?

How I wish I could make some positive comments! Instead, things are the worst ever for me because I'm dirt poor. I have to pay the mortgage late. They're telling me the phone's going to be cut off. I can't scrape up money for the car insurance payment. I haven't been laid off or anything. I'm in my 41st year of teaching, and this is insane! Unfortunately, my medical co-payments keep me broke.

I teach full-time, tutor after school and on weekends, but those co-payments are huge. Oh, well, this will pass in its time.

I make a lot of friends and keep sharing everyday miseries and frustrations with them, that way I avoid stress.

i think having a positive frame of mind will help one to solve problems.times are getting very hard nowadays, with the economic crises, terrorism, etc.i am trying to cut down on costs which are seemingly not neccessary .e;g,cutting down on mobile bill etc.

There are a lot of problems in the world but all depends on how you approach life. You can approach it with a good attitude or give up. I opt to try to make the best of it like a lot of other people are probably doing right now. Sometimes there are things in life that cannot be controlled. However we can control our own destinies with mind over matter I think. No one can really limit us but ourselves. My family goes through struggles on a normal basis. But we need to cope with it all the best that we can in order to get through. Sometimes when we show our children that we are strong they can take a lesson from us and they will become stronger people in the long run. What parents teach their young children has a lot to do with their coping mechanisms for the same trying times that they might go through when they grow older and become parents. So the end all be all is that I will just take each day as it comes and just let things go with the flow. Of course I will try my best to make good out of any situation and it will not be easy. If anything all of this will make us much stronger in the end. Take care friend.

As a Christian, I have my faith to lean on. This certainly does not mean that I have it all together and that I never worry. But the one thing I always remind myself is that God is on the Throne and He is in control! I just have to keep doing the work that he has set before me (raising a family, being a friend, singing, volunteering, partnering with my husband etc.) and He will take care of the rest. The Bible says that worrying will not add another day to our life. Very true. In fact, it takes away from your life by wasting your precious time. He also tells us to use our heads. He gave us brains. We need to be frugal where we can, but generous to a fault. We work hard, try to avoid credit, and just plain stick together as a family and also with our church family and friends. Men at our church do home repairs for free to those in the church who need a little help. We send meals to those who've had surgery, had a baby, are out of work etc. We pool our resources in many ways. When we see wars and rumors of wars, we remember that God has already written the last chapter of this world's story and He will prevail. So we try not to panic. Thanks for letting me share that! Hope it inspires someone!
