I did not know that he had it in him. But his decision to choose Rick Warren for the inauguration has made me most proud. Maybe there is hope for us after all. I am willing to admit that maybe I misjudged him before. Having read Rick Warren's book, "The Purpose Driven Life," three times, I can definitely say that I am a fan of his work. This is just so excited for me. Are you have as excited as I am?

That's great! You've been the church, haven't you? I've been there, too. No wonder why I haven't been getting my weekly e-mails from Rick Warren lately, he's been too busy.

When I visited his church, I filled out a card and you could choose various e-mail newsletters to be sent to you. Pastor Warren was sending out video messages for a while, but I haven't gotten anything lately. I still get e-mails for Saddleback San Clemente.

I will say, Obama is at least trying to make good on his promise of inclusion and picking people without regard to party or ideology. Plus, any choice that pisses off the leadership of People for the American Way can't be all bad. :~D

For me, I feel this is a Good choice, and I cannot see why people are so Angry at this. I personally think if at anytime the World needs Prayer for things going on in the world it is now, and they should be more open to God instead of wanting to fight against him. I personally also agree that this speaks volumes for Obama and what he is wanting for our Country and what a great way to start.
