A pediatric neurosurgeon says a tumor he removed from the brain of a Colorado Springs infant contained a tiny foot and other partially formed body parts. Imagine that? I have been reading about all of these medical oddities and it seems that there are many, almost twins, causing problems for babies.
A friend of mine was pregnant with twins and then, one day, it was gone. Just absorbed back into the body!!
Truth IS stranger than fiction!!

I have heard of putting your foot in your mouth but I think that was going a little too far! LOL

Thanks for sharing with us the article. Your post reminds me of a man with an abnormal deformity in his stomach. When he was operated the fetus of his twin unborn brother was found in his stomach.

As they say, truth is stranger than fiction.
They used to have "Ripley's Believe it or Not" in all of the Sunday papers and would present all of the oddities that have happened to people. In the old days, people like Simese twins, the Tree Man, etc., would be side "freak shows" at the circus. Luckily that has stopped, at least in the USA.

It is odd, and only think how the parents would react to such a "weird" thing. I too was pregnant with twins and the second one was just gone half way through the pregnancy. I have ultra sounds of the two boys and recordings of their heart beats together, but I only delivered one baby boy with out any problems. Now, to find out that your child has a tumor in their brain and then later find out that it could have a twin had it began correctly, would be tragic. I can only imagine that reaction of any parent that is faced with that as a reality.
Happy Thursday "Snow Day"
