Why do you write?

Well many of us write because it is something that we enjoy. I usually write when I am stressed or feeling down because it helps me to release my feeling and thoughts. Why so you write? Is it your job, your hobbie or simply something that you do on occasion?

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond, I too love to write. although I started in my teenage years, I guess I could say that it has become a habit. There are times when I find my writings from years back and I just lay in bed and read it like a book. Sometimes I am amazed about the feelings and thoughts that I have expressed on to paper, It has helped me to become the person I am today. Writing has made a huge impact on my life and I hope to write professionally one day. Again thank you for your response.

For me, writing is a form of therapy. Whenever I feel low, or something, I just start writing, and after a while, I start to feel better. It's my way of relieving any form of tension. This is my reason for writing.

Thank you for your response:) I completely agree with you it is come kind of therapy. As i mentioned above I write especially when I am feeling down, for some reason after i have done my writing i feel like there is a weight lifted of my shoulders. I have tried it all crying, yelling and screaming (lol) but it is only when I write that makes me feel much better. I have always writen for as long as I remember. I can honestly say that writing has helped me keep through the worst, the toughest and sadest moments in my life.

Yeah, I know exactly how you feel. Yelling, screaming, crying doesn't often help. But writing always does.

I write in different ways, I write my blogs and update my friends of what is happening to me, I write in for different sites and earn, I write reviews. I write to be able to be used to writing. I know now that I am a frustrated I admit it, but I know in the future that I will be lined up along with the author of best selling books. I know I can do that because I have the passion and I am a hardworker.

Well I also write to relive some stress. Blogging helps me relieve stress as well as get others opinions on what I'm going through. I love my online friends.

I haven't sat down and written in a long time due to the fact that I have a computer now and end up surfing the net anyway. But if I do sit and write I find myself composing a poem about experiences in my life. I think that writing a nice poem helps me to feel a little better about myself and then I can reflect on my life.

I write because I hope to get some of it published, but I also write as a kind of therapy. When I am sad or confused, I often write down my thoughts and feelings. Sometimes I don't know what it is that makes me sad, and writing about my feelings helps me understand myself better. I also write in my diary when I am happy, and I like to write about all sorts of things, feelings and experiences. I also have a collection of poems that I have written. I still need to work on some of them, but it is my goal to get them published one day.
