Have you ever wondered who actually wrote a post?

I know that a lot of people here have close knit friends that they enjoy responding and reading discussions from. I've also noticed some discussions myself that I have to wonder if the actual mylotter wrote or someone in their household. At first, when I saw a few posts by some mylot animals (dogs, cats) I was wondering who wrote it, until I realized that it was the family pet... But that's not really what I'm talking about. Have you ever seen a discussion that is totally different from a friend's and you just have to wonder if they wrote it or if someone else wrote it? I'm not really close knit with anyone here but my fiance, so I know if he wrote it as we are always in the same room while using the computer, but if I see a discussion from someone else who I stalk here, and it's different, I have to say "huh?" Was that confusing beyond anything, or did you get that?

I got it and yes I know exactly what you mean. I have seen many 'impossible' things supposedly taking place as have others. Seems some are using the same account and some are definately copy/pasting from elsewhere (without even reading what they are posting!). If I have proof that what I think is happening possibly is then I report.

it is only fitting and proper that we report to the mylot admin incidences of this kind. it is not only very annoying but, we also lose the points that we have labored for because of these irrresponsible mylotians. it will never feel good to fall prey to this kind of people around here. definitely, it will be so hurting to see that one is losing so many points which will also convert to our earnngs, once their discussions are pinpointed to be anomalous and thus, will be deleted by the admin. they'd best start to develop a good conscience within themselves and rectify their wrong ways.

I know exactly what you mean. Each of us develops a style of writing that is ours alone. some years ago I had a weekly column in the Sunday newspaper and I essentially had my own style, People recognised me by my writing style - they did not have to look for the name. I am quite new on Mylot but there are some friends whose style I now recognise and probably some out there know my style too. Perhaps, someone who posts allows other members of his/her family to post on his/her behalf whilst they are busy doing household chores or something. Maybe too a student allows someone in the family to do do too. This is a distinct possibility. Personally, I would only recognise this by a few people who post and I have not yet come across this. Excellent posting. Blessings

I agree that it could be done on another's behalf while doing household chores and especially while the holiday season is approaching (or is here rather) people are more busy, children, however, are not. I appreciate the response, and have a wonderful day.

I think that it's precious that your grandchildren did that. Even if a church this is their first time being at one. I'm sure that most of the congregation thought it was adorable. I hope you had a great day at church though.

Thank you for your best wishes for today. I am about to leave for an hour's drive to deliver a basket at a villa along the coast. It helps me to earn a little extra money. Took my 2 year old grand twins to Church today for the first time. They happily sang 'Old MacDonald has a farm' complete with sound effects! What can I tell you? This was during the quiet time too! I don't think that the 'oink oink here and the oink oink there' went down too well with some of the congregation. But the Priest kept laughing. Blessings

I'm wondering what difference it makes? If its a good discussion I'm sure myLot doesn't care who wrote it.I surly don't care, and why should you? Why do you "stalk" anyone here? What do you mean by "stalking?" Did you actually realize a "family pet" wrote a Post, or am I mixed up beyond hope? Sorry for my confusion, but is English your first language?

I mean it doesn't make a difference to me personally but I am just saying that if that is the case as to why some discussions from certain people are different, then I am sure that the person would be upset at whomever came on here without permission. I don't stalk people, it was a joke as there are a few people here who like to respond to a friends discussion and jokingly they will call it stalking. I know stalking is a serious offense and I would never do such a thing. Yes English is my first language.

I guess I dont have anyone here that I am close knit with enough to know if they are writing it or not. I wouldnt mind if someone else would jump on and help me every now and then though. LOL! That is just more money for me.

I am new here. Even being a member for 6 months just now I started to be really active. So for now I am still getting to know people here can´t really say if it´s really that person, that friend that is really writing the posts. What i am trying to do here is make some money while having some fun and also make some friends. i love to know new people.

Well I know that as a new user and a unfrequent user it can be hard to tell whether a person is really writing the discussion or if someone has gotten on their account. I hope you have fun here, Have a wonderful day.

i have noticed this thing to be going with some mylotters maybe two years hence yet. there are some of us around here who allow others (family members, friends and even children) to tinker with their mylot files. this is the reason why one encounters once in a while, so differently presented discussion or posted responses at times coming from suppposedly one individual. i have been in your shoes too, somecowgirl, more than a year ago from now. of course, there is no way that a man beyond 50 could talk about what happened in school today involving a clasmate and a teacher, right? and in a very childlike presentation yet.

I wouldn't really say that it was a problem except for in the home as if it's a person who clearly knows better they are most likely to be punished. As for on mylot most people are very nice and just see to it as a misunderstanding and therefore aren't bothered by it. I appreciate the response nonetheless.

This is another great discussion baby and you seem to keep coming up with ideas for discussions that others would not think of,and I am sure there are a lot of people out there who wonder sometimes who actually wrote a post, and there are probably people who see posts and think they were not written by the person who posted them and that that person must have copied the post from another mylot user or had someone else in the household write it for them, and then I am sure there are people who believe that the posts are written by the person who posted them, and I agree everyone probably has friends that they enjoy reading discussions from and responding to,and I also like responding to people and reading discussions from my friends discussions from my interests and from time to time there is a discussion that does not seem like someones normal writing style, which makes it almost seem like someone else wrote it for them, and I know that you are the only one I am close to on here as well, and I know that you would know if someone else wrote my post because we are always in the same room, even though I will sometimes get you to help me when I am starting a discussion,I love you with all my heart and soul, have a great day, good luck with all your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.
