im scared to death of flying but i have flown before so i really am glad to read stories like this where people LIVE!! it must have been insane to be in the plane, it crash and start burning!! no matter what its a miracle and its nice to hear

wow that was one nasty fortunately they all managed to survive ...........
but this incident does not indicate that airlines are not safe .....

I saw that on the news this morning and was so happy to hear something nice that happened instead of all dying..this is a rarity and am proud of the Pilot for knowing what to do in landing safely..he could have freaked out and crashed..

yeah it was very lucky of the pilot since i think some times even the best ones cant save the plane

Wow that was an incredibly fortunate outcome especially considering the fire. I have never been on an airplane, like you I'm terrified of flying. I'm just glad it's never been a necessity for me to get on a plane. I'd have to have a shot of valium with a valium chaser.... just to sit on the runway!

unfortunately im a mutant and dont get drunk or pain killers dont knock me out so i wouldnt have any luck escaping it lol..

actually people in that plane were very careful and the emergency exit was brought into use by them very quickly. The people near the emergency exit opened it and people moved out of the plane quickly. This shows that if people are attentive, disasters can be avoided.
