I just dont have any sympathy for people who jump at such scams without giving a thought to it.Why will anyone give them such a huge amount for nothing.I have been getting such mails since last 10 years and even when was a newcomer never bothered to read such mails. If i sum up the amounts i would have got from all e-mails it would be above 1 billion.Hilarious.I have my anger for the people who are trapped by such scams.

In the beginning, when this first started, I felt sorry for the victims. Now it is all over the internet and I don't feel sorry for those people who fall the scam. Just a simple search will overwhelming reveal that it is a scam. I don't have much sympathy for people who are too lazy to look into something before becoming involved.

Oh man, I keep getting that crap in my junk mail folder. I'm like, quit e-mailing me you a$$holes! Yeah, I know it's a scam. I've never won anything in my life. They must think I'm stupid. I just wish they'd get tired of sending me that crap.

anybody who gots an email address has probably gotten such scams. most people do not fall for it except 1% of the people they send it to.

I would like to say I have no sympathy for them because to me it is such an obvious, blatant scam. But there are still people in the world who are trusting and naive, not jaded and suspicious like I am! And that's why scams like this are so successful, they target the last few trusting people in the world. I can't help but feel a little bad for them.

i agree about it being to obvious. its basicly to easy to get conned because its like a 50/50 situation. you get conned or you don't. there needs to be more proof and reputation for me.

There was a lady on the TV tonight, she had sent a nigerian boyfriend thousands of pounds because his son was sick and he had to visit him in hospital and pay medical expenses.Tell me as I missing something ,you have never met this person and you send him thousands of pounds, you even send him the the airfare for him and his son ,he does not turn up and then you send him more money. What is wrong with people an investigator told her to send a bit more and the police will trace it and catch him,the investigator was even bent and police did not get anywhere, they even rang the guy up and asked him to come to London and he even asked them for the air fare,so it was a lost cause all round.

I think they should know better. I may feel sorry for an elderly person that gets hooked in, or someone that is not mentally able to know better.

Hi Elmiko, It is so obvious it is a scam to the majority but some more simple minded but compassionate people are fooled which I feel is sad. I do have sympathy for them as they have been targeted on really by the cruel callous people. Huggles. Ellie :D

It's unbelievable that people are still being caught in this trap, since it's been on the news so many times. But greed does that to people. Any time someone approaches you with anything that sounds too good to be true, you should run the other direction as fast as possible.

I have sympathy for them because not everyone is as internet savvy as everyone else so there are people who are basically honest, yet ill informed, so they believe these scams. My ex's sister recently fell for the check scam to the tune of $4,996.00. She thought the *company* had to be legit since they had sent her a cashier's check and her bank said it was good. I really wish she had talked to me first because she thought she was in the clear once the check cleared and the funds appeared in her account. She sent the money grams like she was supposed to and kept the $300 she was told to keep. A week later the bank called. Now she's fighting with them over what they say she owes to them. I advised her to contact the police but I'm not sure how much they'll be able to do.

I saw something about this on Oprah where people did everything the like they were suppose to and still got scammed. Stuff like this makes me paranoid as you never know who your really dealing with. I think its a good thing for me to be somewhat paranoid due to things like this.

Anyone who has tried to earn a little on the Internet need to have sympathy for those who have been scammed. I know I do. It's easy to have 20/20 hindsight and to see the greed an the scam but when you are in it unless you can step back and take a good look you can be easy prey. Have a little feeling for those of us who are human. Blessings

Dear sir or madam i am the daughter of a Nigerian King and have difficulties in accessing the money and i need your help in this matter... Or some variation of the above =P i got an email that Yasser Arafat's widow needed my help to get money from her late husband's account =P Those sort of emails are full of it. I don't really get how a person can fall for them honestly. Because common sense should lead a person to think why would the relative of some person in power, or wealthy businessman/woman need the help of a total stranger? Another thing how did they get your email address?? It is a clear case of SCAM put simply so seriously i don't know how people fall for such things. Perhaps those that DO fall for them are simply overly trusting. And have never really thought of scams of that nature being tried on them. It is a lesson in being careful who you give your personal information to. A rather pricey one in fact.
