Do you prepare fruits in New Years eve!

in our country (Philippines) we have a culture that we have to prepare fruit which has circular share any fruit with that kind of shape is acceptable and it must be numbered in 13 different kinds of circular or rounded shape at least oblong can be considered. we can learned some info from your response.

Merry Christmas. I'm vietnamese and when it comes to christmas there isn't any tradition that says we must prepare fruit. But like any asian culture we do use a lot of fruit for our alters and stuff.

It was interesting to read about the fruit tradition from the Philippines, I have never heard about that before and we don't have a similar tradition in my country (Denmark)

Hello! Merry Christmas !!!!!! I am from the philippines also and as always we prepare 13 kinds of fruits every new year for good luck purposes and I make sure that rice,salt,sugar and milk tupperware are full of those for they say that you can be abudant for the coming year.
