stupid?????idiot??????i think i was in my second grade,i had a wave of curiosity, trying to experiment with my dads shaving set.i removed the hair from my hands and feet(i had seen my elder cousins doing it)then i saw, some hair was there on my face too.i went on to remove it too and i accidently shaved off a part of my eyebrow.i used to sit with my left hand covering my left eye,so that nobody could see my accident.unluckily for me,my teacher saw it and passed on the information to other teachers and all had a good giggle at my expense.

it is a normal part of growing up, my son tried to shave and cut himself. Little boys want to be big boys, nothing wrong or shameful there.

Your teacher should have kept her mouth shut. Kids do crazy things, because they are kids, and have not grown to understand why what they do is crazy. Teachers need to understand that kids have feelings too, and when they get to know something like that, it's no joke to the kid.

Good thing that you dont shave off your hair on your head, Kids are really curious and they tend to do some stupid things even adults too. I just remember before when i was a kid, ive seen my mom cutting the hair of my sister after she finish cutting my sister hair, i get the scissors and cut my bang hair very short i think one inch left and worst is it is not straight my mom get angry at me.

aww I call it curiosity too. Kids always try to mimick the behavior that they see around them because that's how they learn. When I was little I don't think I did anything like that but once my mom was looking for me all over the house and she couldn't find me. I guess she looked in the room but didn't see me and when she finished looking everywhere she checked the room again and I was standing there with a new dress that they bought for me halfway on and I was kissing myself in the mirror lol. My mom said she was about to have a heart attack lol. My cousin's cousin's son used to pull out his eyebrow hairs because we're guessing he saw his mom plucking her eyebrows lol. "Kids do the darndest things" :D

o wow, i can relate. when i was a girl i thought it would be really cool to try out my dads razor.i decided i wanted bald arms.it worked great. actually, it worked a little too great.when my mom found out i thought she was gonna have a cow.she lit into me good. i didn't think it would hurt anyone, but apparently it did,ME. so yes, it is stupid, but very funny. later anyway.

I used to collaborate with friends and shave off one of another person's eyebrows while they were passed out sleeping, but this is the first I have seen of it being self applied riya! It's a shame you weren't able to pass it off as the latest trend as you could have horrified all Teachers and Parents by inspiring every other kid to do it also! And hairy feet riya?? Thank God you were unable to reach your back too then!

riyasam, I am sure we will have our hilarious accident(s) at some stages of our lives and it is just so. Take it in good spirit and have a good laugh. After all, that is what humor is all about and for. I am sure the eyebrow of yours will grow back in time but those special smiling moments will never repeat. Hope you had capture the moments even though you might not be in the right mood and spirit. I have had my share of these moments too and I just managed to laugh it off at the same time. Just one of those moments to go hilarious. Cheers and compliments of the season.

If you call teachers making fun of a child by spreading something around stupid or idiotic, then I agree. If you mean YOU as a child doing something a child didn't know wasn't done, then no, it's not idiotic. My mother gave me my first razors in 7th grade. Not only did I shave my legs, but I shaved my arms, too. I didn't have a clue. What did my mother do? Practically fell on the floor laughing, that's what. I was afraid to go to school because I was sure the missing hairs would be noticed - never mind that they were practically invisible from the first being blonde against freckled skin, but I was sure people would notice. No one did. Only my mother who laughed about that for days. But, to her credit, she told no one else. She kept it between us. Your teacher should have as well.

my sister had real bushy eyebbrows so she decided to work on them one day. she called me in the bathroom & was horrified at what she'd done. she had very few left. she told me not to tell mother [like she wouldn't have noticed]. she was so upset i did tell mother & told her not to laugh at her[ which she was good at doing]. she promised she wouldn't but as soon as she saw her she burst out laughing. it was hard not to.i know how u felt. i was so sorry for my sister. merry christmas.

I would call it stupid but as you were a child at that time so, I can only laugh on your act. I mean first you had a cut on your eyebrow and then you were able to hide it from your parents. You must be a naughty child. Am I right?

It's perfectly normal for a little kid to be curious of things he or she sees. In fact, same thing happened to me. Its part of growing up so you could call it whatever you want but its not stupid or idiot. It's kinda funny when you come to think of it.

You did more than what is expected of a second grade child. It is also said that curiosity kills the cat, so in order to experiment you landed in trouble. Hopefully, this experience of yours would have taught you a lesson for the life time. However, at that time you were supposedly quite innocent so it was alright to do such kind of experiment.......LOL!

I think it is called the foolishness of a child who did not know what they are doing. I shaved my eyebrow also and left a nick in it also. I did not think anyone would notice it. Well I was wrong everyone noticed it.

LOL! I would have shaved off the other one... just to match.. and if asked, then tell them that you have eyebrowitis removeous! a rare and semi-contagious disease that attacks the eyebrows and by staring and or laughing.. you could catch your own case! lol! yeah, I was a mean little kid! I never shaved anything.. but I did a hairdo or two that took forever to grow out! and, heck, years later I still give myself a "special" hair doo once in a while that leaves me wearing a baseball cap for a few weeks! lol!

No I would not call you stupid or idiot..You were being a child a curious child. Most children go through things like this it is a part of growning up. The teachers were not laughing at you because they thought you were stupid or an idiot. They just saw the humor in the situation. That is all.
