Do prisoners think they are invincible?

Many of them seems to act tough so does that mean they think they are undefeatable?

hi spiderlizard..(quite a name)... i think some prisoners are hardened and are tough. some have to act tough to survive and avoid being beaten by others. some probably think they are undefeatable but look where they are. they didn't beat the system. they lost.

I know. If they didn't beat the system what makes them think they can take on everyone?

they may have to think that for themselves to make the feel better about themselves. they are delusional but that's their way of facing each day.

I think it's fair to ask if they actually care or not. They're not bothered about the penalties if they get caught as they know that the chances of them being locked away for any length of time are slim.
Why stop breaking into cars and houses when if you get caughtyou get a 6 month rehabilitation order? They know that they get away with crime and in my view it's the reason why some come across so arrogant.

I thought they continue to commit crimes because they weren't rehabilitated.

Yes, they sure do! These people have been making bad choices and doing all the wrong thing all their lives. And now they in prison,alot of them for the rest of their lives. What do they care what kind of trouble they cause? What do they care? And why should they? Anybody else out there that really cares about them? Doubtful!

perhaps no one cares for them but prisoners do care for themselves. Aren't they worried that they will lose their teeth, an eye, or won't be able to eat solid food again?

Prisoners should never think they are invincible. If they do, they should think why are they prisoners? After all they were defeated by law and police that's why they are prisoners.

I would sure like for a prisoner to read or hear that they aren't invincible.
