I have a plastic board for cutting fruits and vegetables and slicing meat, and a wooden one for chopping! The wooden one is harder to wash; and I have to make sure that it is clean and dry - worries about 'what-not' growing!

I like the wood or bamboo, but I only have these cheap polyethelene ones. I was looking into the plastic ones, and they might be easy to clean, but I want one tht is also resistant to knife cuts and stains. I do have a small wooden curved board that I bought in Alaska, sort of a semi- bowl and cutting board but I want a bettre one, but they cost a bit too much.

I was given for Christmas last year some very unique ones...they are made of some sort of plastic.....are very thin and easy to store...they are quite large and I also use them to roll out cookie dough on and to cut out cookies....the mess is so easy to clean up then.

Hello vanities, I am using a wooden cutting board and I like it very much compare to other types. It is thick and easier to do my work. I have three different type of cutting boards at home but I use this one most of the time. To cut fruits, I will use the plastic cutting board - not because I like it but I just don't want to mix up the cutting board I use for normal stuff.

I don't actually have preferences for cutting boards except that I like to use one for meat and one for vegetables, separate. Right now I use a plastic cutting board that I use for vegetables and if and when I need to cut meat, I cut it on a plate that is easy to wash. I

I have a glass cutting board that is easy to clean of course, and will not get cuts on the surface that will harbour bacteria even if the board has been well washed. That is a big problem with cutting boards that are made of wood or plastic.

I normally use this flexible plastic one that my sister bought. I have a few others, but I rarely get them out. Most are plastic, but I do have a few wooden ones too.

I also use a bamboo cutting board. I don't know that it's any better than other cutting boards, but it looks nice and feels good. I find that it's easy to clean as well.

I too use cutting board to cut vegetables. I use wooden cutting board. I find it very difficult to cut vegetables without using cutting board. My mom also prefers to cut vegetables using cutting board.
