I always rip the gift wrapper. I don't really care about saving them for memories or for any other future use. It makes me feel really special when I rip open the gift wrappers because I feel like it's something that will never be replaced - the feeling, and the gift itself.

In my case... if the gift is easy to open... i just do it gently so that i can save the wrapper for another use... but if it is difficult to open... then there is nothing i can do but to rip it... then save that what i can save...
I have this habit of creating small envelopes with the gift wrappers that i get... saves me some money... and helps the environment as well...

I can't do it, I mean not able to rip the gift wrapper. When I receive a gift, I consider the wrapper a part of it and I'd try my best to keep it as perfect as possible, even after I take out the present, I still keep the wrapper and the box somewhere for a long time. Sometimes I feel stupid about not ripping it but that's the person I am. ^^

When I was young(this is what I remembered) I "always" ripped the gift wrappers. It's just that I felt excited to know what's inside the wrapper. Today, whenever I received gifts, I carefully open the wrappers and keep them (as a memorabilia- sort of) But you know what? Sometimes out of excitement (being carried away of excitement- like a child) I tend to ripped them of, but I still keep those wrappers no matter what.

I just rip the paper fast for I want to get to the gift itself
I have had some pretty paper that I liked but knew I would never save it or
anything so I just tore throught it.

Hi there. Being the impatient person that I am, I usually rip gift wrappers even if I intend to unwrap my gifts carefully so I guess there's no helping it.
We used to re-use pretty gift wrappers when I was younger but then, as the quality of gift wrappers seems to be deteriorating over the year, we kinda stopped bothering with it and allowed ourselves to rip gift wrappers off gifts instead.

I carefully open. Lately me and my friends decided to make an economy of gift wrapped presents, and instead of putting gifts inside beautiful papers and boxes, we put them simply in a textiled sac/bag. And it is still beautiful.
But even if a present is wrapped, I open it carefully, as I like to reuse the paper next time when there will be a gift that is `crying out` to be wrapped in a paper.

I would also rip them off but most most of the time i dont feel anyothing but sometimes when i open them i really feel sorry for the one who packed it since they would have taken so much care packing and bringing it to us with care and at that time i really feel sorry and i really felt bad whan one of my friend who told me that she packed the gift for nearly one hour but it just took me less than a minute to remove it off and she had packed it wonderfully....Happy mylotting..
