What do you think? I think not, I've been there and there are full of bountiful resources.

I haven't been to the philippines but i also come from a "third world country". I also think that south africa shouldn't be called that. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that there is no label for "second world countries". Seriously what's between first and third?

ahahahahha.. you made me laugh! well you got a point there! I think, even if we don't have a powerful country, at least we have full of natural resources. Ü

Bigger countries refer to the smaller countries as third world countries. Perhaps they set up bases. I have no problem with the Philippines referred to as a third world country because we cannot as yet compete with the big ones although we have good natural resources, manpower, etc.

Yes, you are right, Philippines is your country and you love it, so you don't consider it a 3rd world country. I live in Italia, and I have to say that Italians, generally speaking, think that your country belongs to a 3rd world country. Not all Italians think so, but many Italians do. I think that Philippines is a wonderful country full of bountiful resources and problems like all the other countries in the earth. If I remember well the most part of people is Christian, I'm not Christian - even if Italia is full of Christians - and I wonder if there are still people who follow their pre-Christian and pre-Islamic religion.
